What is the travelers Heath declaration and where is it available to fill out and sign?

It's just a paper or digital form you fill out like other countries. Not sure what exactly it is because it's not December 30th yet. They may end up dropping the PCR test in the future. I think this decree, frankly, is going to get amended.

This is what the decree says in article 7:

"The restrictions dealt with in this Ordinance do not prevent foreigners from entering the country by air, provided that the migratory requirements appropriate to their condition are complied with, including having an entry visa, when required by the Brazilian legal system.

1 The traveler of international origin, Brazilian or foreign, must present to the airline responsible for the flight, before boarding:

I. Document proving laboratory tests (RT-PCR), for screening for infection by SARS-CoV-2, with a negative / non-reactive result, performed 72 hours prior to the moment of shipment; and.

II. Traveller's Health Declaration (DSV) completed (in print or digitally) with the agreement on the sanitary measures that must be complied with during the period in the country.

2 The measures provided for in 1 take effect from 12/30/2020.

3 The migratory authority, at the provocation of the health authority, may prevent the entry into national territory of persons not listed in art. 3, when they do not meet the requirements set out in 1. ".

Starting on December 30th, 2021 you will need to bring a negative PCR test to board the plane to Brazil and sign the declaration agreeing to their COVID restrictions.

I'm going to have to get one of these for my trip to Sao Paulo at the end of January.

The costs range is from £100-£150 for a private test in person where I live and results with 24-48 hours.

My flight to Brazil is at night time too, at a time when the clinics will be closed, so will have to do the 24 hour results test two days before I go.

So basically I won't know if I'm actually going until 24 hours before I go. I suffer with bad anxiety and this is going to kill me haha.

Its an impossible situation. It can take 3-5 days for you to get results, there is no way to bring a test that is only 72 hours old!! If someone arrives with a test that is 5 days old, I wonder if they will send you back?

What impossible? There are others countries (like Thailand) that required the 72 hours RT-PCR test and plenty of travellers got it before their flight without problems. Of course you must to use private clinics.

Are you sure you can't have resuts in 72 hours. In France you get them in maximum 72 hours, often in 24 hours, but one thing Brasil about 50 000 infected people / day. And Christmas and New year in the future so I think mid January it will be worst take care.

I would like to go in Rio but now I prefer waiting.

That is a bummer that a PCR test is needed, have not taken the test before. I might be confused or don't understand what I'm reading correctly, Did it say people are permitted to enter for vacation or travels? And not resident or citizens of Brazil. The article also said at the end it was not enforced.

I am planning to go there in Jan and I'm a US citizen there for vacation and have no Brazilian resident or citizenship.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, 4 X4 is indeed open again.

It takes 3 - 5 days to get the Results for a PCR Tests. It is not possible to ensure I get a test results back in time for I depart. (If you have to test 72 hours before departing).
