Made the move to barra (pronounced baja) nice apartment hotel at posto 8. Quiet beach area but really nice. Sessioned one off of PA morena 22 years old nice Cs firm bunda. She was very distant so I hit it and asked her to eat with me which she was more than happy to do. She was dressed like a real working girl. So I booked a room for 2 nights at transamerica. I will sleep and spend my mornings at the beach apt and afternoons and late evenings at TA most likely. The price was negligible so I think the investment will pay off. The second subject a spinner from barravips finally showed after she finished dinner. Super cute could not have been more my type for a white girl. Good session then she puts her nose in her phone for the last 10 minutes after the deed. I politely tell her if she's bored she can go, she just smiled and sat on her phone. She then had the nerve to ask me for uber money. I will copy and paste my response here. II am disappointed with the Transamerica: I booked yesterday via Booking, received a confirmation and gave an arrival time but no message since. I am there waiting in this place which is actually called "Mediterraneo Flat" and no one can help me. The telephone number of the person there doesn't answer on Whatsapp and cannot be reached by normal telephone.

I believe what happened here is you went the wrong route. I just booked a play room for two nights at TA through airbnb. Host has several rooms and pictures of all the amenities so I was sure it was it. Upon booking it is TA. Now I have a beach apt and a pleasure hall.

I was in Copacabana in November. Taxis were off the street by 11 PM. The small bars in front of the beach were shut by midnight at the latest. Monte Carlo I think was open until midnight as well and no later. I'd like to know if the curfew hours changed.

Everything is open the hours stated on google. I left well past midnight several nights so far. Termas, boate, cafe. Restraunts are all open. Dulce vita lights were on when I went past on one night. Don't remember which. For now anyway. A previous report said sao Paolo has curfews. But they probably aren't as reliant on tourism. They are going to feel a crunch with the testing rule. The locals I have spoken to have been unaware of the coming slow down. Many people don't want to risk a vacation interruption on a test.

I fail to see the difference in whether or not you pay on the way in or out. They have set rates, you are either going to session or get numbers. You will be buying drinks and spending either way. If somone is that tight on cash a trash terma might be more suited for that situation. They can also be wrong on their assumptions, a local told me just yesterday "you never assume in Rio". My first time I could tell the manager was surprised I sessioned there because I took the advice posted here and did not dress nice to draw unwanted attention. Maybe you could explain more, I am confused by your clarification LOL. Do you not pay any entrance fee? If that is the case I don't think its fair to expect a tourist to get in free. They know their customer base.

I think what he was referring to was the old policy that required that you pay the entrance and programa upon entry. It didn't matter whether you took one or not. That was common practice, unless you knew someone there or were able to convince them otherwise. I've been there maybe 5 times (haven't returned since mid 2000's), and managed not to pre pay once. One time I went and wasn't feeling it. I tried to get my money back, but they refused. Good thing I was able to go back in and find someone. That was back when $310 r was a lot for a termas, LOL.

In fairness, if you book with an individual host rather than the management, that's who you should be disappointed with. You can call Booking and ask them to interfere (in my experience, they've been good resolving issues, but can be difficult to reach) or / and contact Vagabundo who stays there long-term and see if he can help.

Went back to marrakesh and sessioned the intriguing girl even though hotter were available. Only because she had a good vibe.

Most times I follow this rule, I end up with a very good-to-great session. Most times I pick hotness over vibe, it's bad-to-just OK (with a much better ratio in major termas, of course).

I like that Transamerica is two blocks back from the beach. It is an easy and nice walk, with a little exclusive boat ride in between. On the beach is too noisy and busy for me.

The pool has been closed the last few weeks due to the pandemic. I am told it will open after the new year. It can't be soon enough.

As for bad experiences in Transamerica, I just report my experience, which was prompted by another member, Safado69's experience. It works well for me.

Centaurus, as compared to other thermas, makes you pay the entrance fee immediately when you enter. They ideally would also like you to prepay a session when you enter as well, but you can also pay when you decide to session. At other thermas like Monte Carlo, you pay for everything when you leave. I don't like this feeling of not being trusted and having to prepay everything. Foe this reason, in addition to heavy selling pressure and some mediocre sessions and the higher prices, I don't go to Centaurus anymore.

Started my night after terapista at marrakesh the talent was a lot better than last trip. The door man is a really good guy. He remembered me right off the jump. 50 to get in with 2 free drinks. There were 3 or 4 that any cialis infused peen would enjoy. They were still putting up new years decorations so I bought the random mixed woman next to me a drink. She was far from the hottest but she intrigued me so I bought her a few more drinks and then decided to check out Casablanca. The American guy that works there and most of the girls remembered me from Halloween. Unfortunately all the best talent had been checked out so I bought a couple no gos some drinks just to get intel. Just watch your bill there they tried to over charge me. Went back to marrakesh and sessioned the intriguing girl even though hotter were available. Only because she had a good vibe. The next day Vagabundo and I went out (see his report). After that I went back to marrakesh because a brunette spinner caught my eye the night before. She never got sessioned and only one guy bought her a drink. She runs with a clique that are constantly on their phone messaging Carioca boyfriends to come in. She ignored me all night. I then decided to buy a slim tall older gal a drink for intel. After a while she confronts the spinner about ignoring me. She was actually jealous of my attraction for the other young lady. Turns out the spinner is almost blind. She didn't see me trying to get her attention. I am not really one to chase a worker around a boate. So to show my appreciation I bought some more drinks and used the time to get to know the spinner. Ended up bringing both back to my room we agreed on an hour but they ended up staying from about 3 to 6. I paid 900 including house for a decent threesome that was over an hour. Had to kick them out for sleep they were drunk and lingering at that point. Today I went to a prive I chose randomly off the local forum. Had a great session with a mixed spinner. The day was quite the adventure, a truly memorable experience. I am glad VM was slow as VB1 reported because that beautiful shithole would have been really overwhelming and probably smelled even worse if it was busy. I would defiantly return now that I know what to expect. Olegario was HiSo Rio. The views at the restraunt were great. Has to be best posto in Rio area. Downtown Recerio posto 12 probably shouldn't be traveled alone. It was a cool local scene though. Transamerica is legit. If it was closer to the praia it would be perfect. It may have been a blessing in disguise many places were closed we got to see and learn more. Also don't try and call any of the termas listed not a single phone number works. LOL. You pay an entrance fee upon entering. Brazilians and gringos who they know or who tell them they are not going to enter if they have to pay upfront, pay when exiting. Not sure I am going to go with a girl tonight is usually all it takes. Pre-COVID there was a reason you would see employees hanging around the entrance and girls would help you on with your robe. They were sizing you up. Whether you realize it or not, in life you are constantly being sized up, particularly your ability and willingness to pay. Practice your poker face. Smile. Don't be a jerk, but don't be the fat kid in the donut shop.

No, there was a hard lockdown on new years eve. Only a few restraunts were open in copa. They closed ave atlantica and had checkpoints between neighborhoods. I walked av atlantica a while before midnight. Even though the official fireworks were canceled the locals shows were great!
