But even the hookers you mess with tend to think your life revolves around women because that is the environment they are in and they see the vacationers doing it. I am like bih I have other things to do in life besides chase pussy.

Actually living in a high rise penthouse is the ultimate privacy. I live in one now in LA. Nobody can get to me unless I allow it. I would never be bored in this situation in PI, I can promise you that. Hoops and freelance CG art, visiting the various islands in my free time, still I think would be pretty damn good. But, I appreciate the counsel. I can see how getting blackmailed by the locals could be an issue. And perhaps I try it for a year or two and see how it goes. I still have many years to decide. But I'm going to have about 2 months of paid time off at the end of this year and I would really like to enjoy it in PI partying. Everyone get vaccinated please.

I'm not trying to destroy your dream but it doesn't hurt to temper long term expectations.

Lack of common sense is hard to straighten out. But a dream is a wonderful thing.

A cocky attitude like that, combined with white privilege won't get you far in the Philippines. It will only attract attention and danger. You could learn a lot from the mistakes made by Messrs Shobbrook, Birthisel and Scully who are now enjoying an extended free vacation at Bilibid. Hahaha.

Not really a bargirl issue. Just a thieving issue.

Only request out of my company is to not live in PI anymore, as a former coworker of mine, who was staying there long term, found himself in a lot of trouble. He is now unemployed, broke, divorced, and a slave to the criminal justice system. Bargirl issues.

Sounded good to a former BM from Australia that tried it in Cebu as well. Is he still in prison?

Sure you can get five massages a week, but that only uses up ten hours. Hahaha.

Workout at the gym, read, grocery shopping, resolving domestic issues with LBFMs, visiting the relatives in province, mediating disputes over a sack of rice? Sounds like an exciting life. Hahahaha.

In fact, the Holy Grail would be a high paid, socially acceptable, gig in SG or HK combined with $30 flights to weekends away.

A highly paid job in SG or HK would the best. Live in maid / cook $450-600 a month. Cheap flights. I knew such a person working in HK and flying direct to AC for the weekends. I would prefer living in SG myself.

If that's what you think of yourself then so be it. If one makes positive contributions to the world and treats the ladies with respect I think such a characterization would be inappropriate.

    1. The social stigma associated with being in the Philippines or Thailand is huge. It's negative and it's not going to improve your credibility. Everyone in your office will know why a single person is based in the Philippines (and it's not for doing charity work for poor people in your spare time). Being labelled a monger is the worst label you can get.
Do you want to maintain a pristine veneer of respectability in your homeland? Is your social standing and reputation as a man of good morals important to you in the West? Well, nothing screams "monger" louder than recreational travel and expat status in the Philippines. Everyone will know that you are there for the cheap and easy access to sex with nubile natives. People will brand you as a perverted monger even if they do not say it to your face. Your reputation and social status will suffer and never recover. You need to consider whether becoming a social outcast is worth having your marshmallow sucked on the cheap in the Philippines. Of course, if you do not have much of a reputation to begin with at home, you might not have much more to lose as an expat monger.
