I'm not sure if I will stay in Q-bar even for free. And half of the girls there can make a problems (I just had one problem in my bed tonight). You need to be really careful hunting there. The plus is that if its already after midnight and you still looking for a girl you are 100% sure there are few pros. And few of them looking nice. (last night was about 10 girls, most of them 6-8 out od 10 which is good standard for Tanzania. At weekend I picked one fucking hot girl in there for a night, but at bed she was a damn piece of ebony wood that can only pretend to sleep (still super cute). I gave her 30 k at morning (I wish I could pay her 100 k every night for a good service. Could fall in love). No English at all.

5 n club- steel need to check.

Sinza in general seems to be a place for men who likes African-style girls or experienced mongers. Anyway I feel very safe there.

I don't know any place to go afternoon for max 60000 but maybe I will find something today. On Msasani some massage parlours have potential to be interesting but I'm afraid they will (obviously) try to higher the price for anything they do and 60 k may be not enough. If you RTFF than you would know already that QBar is 90% expired overpriced hookers in there. Dar is not the best place to monger in Subsaharan Africa. BUT. President Magufuli recently declared Tanzania coronavirus free saying "we decided to pray to God to save us from the virus, God has answered our prayers. ".

He hence ordered the resumption of school as well as international flights urging tourists that "Tanzania is safe. ".

The Tanzania government has since further issued guidelines for obtaining of coronavirus clearance certificates to both citizens and foreigners who wish to travel to countries where the documents are a necessity.

The country's health ministry said the fee for screening will be Tsh40,000 (Ksh. 1,8 the52) for citizens, Tsh60,000 (Ksh. 2,787) for foreigners who are citizens and US $100 (Ksh. 10,778) for visitors.

I am in Dar since 5 months now with one month stint in Stone town. Tansania opened up already since May 2020 when the president declared that he will not partake in the worldwide plandemic.I can confirm that there is NO Covid. Live is going on perfectly normal. As we all know it doesn't exist. Just the seasonal flu. I had it too and I'm still alive. Just recently the government raised the price of PCR test for All to 240.000 TZS which is annyoing and ridiculous.

And what you get is a noisy run-down room. Staying there for a month is self-punishment in addition to a mafia of hard-core girls downstairs annoying you.

Africa noob, considering a trip to der es salaam for a month+. Is it just me or are the listings on airbnb expensive for what is offered? Any advice for finding a monthly place in a good location?

Appartements in Dar are historically expensive. Moreover, many landlords who advertise 1 room appartements are actually liars: the room is a part of a bigger appartement with 3 or 4 bedrooms and you are part of a shared appartement.

Masaki is a good area. But below 50. -$ a night you won't find anything acceptable for long term. Best is just book a hotel (Peninsula Hotel, just refurbished, 50. - or the NouvelLark, same price), and from there you do your research by seeing the places.

However, in Sinza area, where the discos like Ambiance and Streetwalkers are, there are many simple places for about 20. -night. Best also to find by walking round.

Or stay somewhere at the beach. But then 20 km away from action.

Edit: Also I was told it is pretty bad in Tanzania for a girl to invite any man, even her own family, over to her apartment. It is seriously frowned upon. So if she is willing to go through that social stigma, she will be hoping for a lot more than just sex and money.
