Got here on the 10th, started swiping on tinder and the next morning I had multiple options for ladies to come to my resort. Had one on Sunday night and then another on Monday after. Nice spinner types. 24 & 19 years old. $. 60 for visit. Multiple ages and body types were available. All I had to do was ask.

Was thinking of planning a trip here in March, but haven't seen or heard anything about what's going on there. Anyone?

Posts: 24On island now. Place is a ghost town compared to previous times I've been down (and I've been down thanksgiving week years past and it was kind of dead, but nothing like this). Haven't gone south of the airport, but it's probably the same.
I've gotten some hits on Tinder and Bumble of what looks like freelancers. Might keep them in mind if I feel the need.
I think Things might get better for the hobby in the next few months when the borders open for South America (minus Venezuela), Central America and the DR. Or they could bring another wave.
I've seen a lot more police and military activity in the past two days, and they are stringent on Covid-19 protocols. Looks like they are taking every precaution to limit the numbers of cases. I feel safer here than back home.

Charlie's Bar is not a chica bar. It's a tourist trap for those that venture down from the north to explore the southern part of the island. No view, overpriced drinks and food, they open and close when they feel like. But if you like to look at crap and trinkets tacked to the walls and the all too familiar license plates, then you're in luck. If you're in this part of the island, Zeerovers in Saventa right on the water is the place to go. But again, this is NOT a chica bar either.
If you're intent on going to Aruba, scroll back about 20 or so pages and invest an hour or so, reading the reports. But remember, the world has changed, they are all pre-COVID. The fact that the board has been silent, indicates to me that San Nicolas has shutdown, much like everywhere else. Until there is some major breakthrough regarding some type of vaccine, I think travelling in general out of your area is going to yield disappointment, especially for mongering. But there have been posters on here that have contacted agencies and have had some pretty good experiences. Again, go back and read posts, especially from senior members who've had many visits to the island under their belts. If you venture to the island, good luck, and remember to give back so others can get a sense of where things stand on the island, especially in San Nicolas.

I've been looking at some agencies online and the prices are $150-$180/ HR. No sense traveling for that, IMO.

I just emailed an Aruba tourism website and they confirmed that some San Nicolas bars are open.

I've never been there before. But I heard that Oranjestad has a nice bar-mongering scene when it's open. Not sure if the bars are still closed for lockdown.

Stop panicking, this is not the end of the world and most certainly not the worst virus we've seen. It's time to get back to the new normal instead of dreaming about unrealistic scenarios.
