What's missing on HK's 7th floor speakeasy is a central focus for activities, an English main square or Spanish central plaza, where people can congregate, have fun, see and be seen, and to participate in social activities.

HK's main floor had Pista Norte where people hang out to watch strip shows, interact with hot girls streaming by. The present 7th floor speak easy is divided into many small rooms, isolate people, makes them lonely and devoid of sexy funs. It's the most fun to share the fun withy a couple wingmen. Try to hook up with a few local bros, or make friends with guys and girls in the club.

I was there last night. They have spread it out a bit. They've basically opened almost all of the 7th floor now. (This was my first time in the other areas of the floor.) It's not much different that the normal area. One of the rooms has a stage and there was a lesbian cream show when I walked in. It's still crowded and those that avoid the 7th floor due to COVID concerns will not be pacified by these changes.

Even if I weren't worried about COVID, I wouldn't like the 7th floor setup. It's too. Isolating might be the word. Each room is pretty much it's own little club, and if you get a seat in a room you only see what's going on there. It feels pretty segmented. I'm sure I'd like it if I came with a group of friends and we could all hang in a room with a bunch of hotties.

What might be cool is if each area had a theme. Skinny girls down that way, big fake tits over there, ass fanatics head down this hall, etc.

Everyone should experience the 7th floor at least once in their life. Experience it for yourself or with a buddy and support some chicas and meseros who are not receiving stimulus checks.

One of those things you can look back and say, "I went to 7th floor during a worldwide pandemic" adds to my list of, "I got stuck in HK when they closed the border down when migrants invaded" or "I braved the crossfires of the cartels and partied in Adelitas and Chicago when chica were only 40-60 bucks.

I read a lot about this yesterday. Obviously, things are fluid and by no means do I claim to know everything. But I read from multiple outlets that this only applies to international air travel and not land borders. After reading multiple sources, I believe it is possible to fly into Tijuana without a test, cross back into the US on foot and fly home from San Diego.

That said, I would not want to be in Tijuana, trying to get a test within 3 days of my flight home. That would only apply to outbound flights from Tijuana. Those that have to fly might be best served by flying into SD and dealing with the challenge of land crossings.

Hopefully it doesn't come to having to have a "covid passport" app on your phone just to drive walk across, or board a domestic flight. But at least getting tested is easy, fast, and economical. But what if you come up positive? They can't deny a US citizen entry and have people stuck at the border... It actually already sucks much worse for non US passport holders, visa holders as their ability to cross freely has become much more restricted.

A common problem. Also having the shower controls installed backwards so that when it shows cold on the dial, it actually is hot and vice versa. I usually test the shower before getting in since it is a crapshoot as to whether the shower works properly. . . A cynic might suspect that management doesn't want people taking long showers. . . So is having a shower that is always too cold or hot a bug or a feature? My solution is to pay for only one night at a time, then if the shower doesn't work, switch to another room the next day then pay for another night and hope the shower works in that one, but it it doesn't, switch to another room the next day. . .

I had a room at Hotel Cascadas a few weeks ago and the freakin shower hot and cold water didn't work properly. No matter what I did the water would only come out either extremely hot or extremely cold. You can imagine it was a major pain in the ass trying to take a comfortable shower. I regret not bringing it to the attention of a manager so they can hopefully get that fixed. If I remember correctly that was on the 3rd floor. Actually next time I get a room there I might specifically request that they give me a room with a properly functioning shower.

It seems like a minor complaint but imagine trying to rinse soap off your body with only freezing cold or scalding hot water. It was super frustrating.

This is true, because the agriculture workers here in Arizona. They have to cross every day. It CDC advisory is mostly for international air travelers into the USA.
