I believe you can look at SG pricing on specific blocks in La Zona like the different rents on a Monopoly board.

The space next to Cascades' alley entrance (on both sides) is like Boardwalk Avenue and Park Place regarding SG pricing. So a 500 peso quote for full service from a SG standing right there can be a great deal (depending on which SG).

Other parts of the alley might be Marvin Garden yellow-like territories to the east, red Kentucky to the west.

Constitution Avenue is like New York Ave. Orange downhill and more like St. Charles Place at the top of the hill. The yellow 13 peso bus from La Linea east can drop you off there, like a yellow card.

If you ever get the fortitude to climb that hill, light blue Oriental Avenue awaits on Primera between Constitution and Revolution. Going west from there, and all of Nino Heroes is like Baltic Avenue for SG pricing (in general).

Dodgers is right about the increased risk. Back when I started mongering back in 2004 the "Oriental blue" part of Primera was called Ratero Alley because of the high volume of muggings on that block.

But in 17 years the violence on that one block has been reduced a lot. It was ridiculous back then.

The Zona areas that continue to have some mugging action are areas where you have local resident housing above and behind busy retail storefronts, like on Constitution Avenue and Coahuila Avenue east of Constitution.
