I went into kayak, a web scraping service, to see how prices for flights to LBFM land are going. They are still to high. However, the message below popped up. Why are Indians being allowed in? And Chinese dumb enough to marry a Pinay?
Entry restrictions.
The Philippines' borders are open only to returning Filipino nationals and their spouses and children, nationals of India with a Temporary Resident Visa, nationals of China with a Permanent Resident Visa who is spouse of a national of the Philippine, foreign nationals with certain category of visa.
Through January 15, travelers arriving from the following countries will not be allowed to enter the Philippines: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, US and the UK. Non-Philippine citizens transiting through any of the countries covered by the ban while en route to the Philippines should be allowed to enter the Philippines, provided that they can demonstrate that they did not depart the transit airport in the listed country, and that they were not granted entry by the immigration authorities of the listed country.
Starting December 7, the following may be allowed entry privileges to the Philippines under the Republic Act No. 6768: Filipino citizens' foreign spouses and children, regardless of age, who are traveling with the Filipino citizen and former Filipino citizens, including their spouses and children, regardless of age, who are traveling with the Filipino citizen.
Entry requirements.
Foreign nationals wishing to enter the Philippines must hold a visa under the following categories, otherwise they risk being turned away at the port of entry:

-native-born foreign nationals (Native-born visa).
Starting December 7, Filipino citizens' foreign spouses and children, regardless of age, who are traveling with the Filipino citizen and former Filipino citizens, including their spouses and children, regardless of age, who are traveling with the Filipino citizen are allowed visa-free entry under Executive Order No. 408, s. 1960. They must have a pre-booked quarantine facility and COVID-19 testing at a laboratory operating at the airport.
Quarantine requirements.
All arriving travelers and airline crew must present a completed Case Investigation Form upon arrival. They will be tested for coronavirus (COVID-19) and placed in quarantine at their own expense, while awaiting the results of the test.
All other info.
Travelers arriving to Davao must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result issued within 72 hours before departure.

Sleeping beauty beside me; she doesn't rise until around 9 am. So I jump in a tryke a few days ago, 8 am, heading to a coffee shop across town to get us each a coffee. I am the only passenger in the tryke. Halfway into our 10-minute ride, the driver pulls over and two more passengers get into the tryke: A handsome young couple, age 20-ish. She is a real beauty: great figure, booby, nice clothes, great face, big eyes and smile. She's all smiles, and flirty with the young man. Her face mask is down under her chin. She yaps, smiles, yaps, and smiles. She gushes. I am liking their interaction perhaps more than the young fella. I've fallen in lust quickly: What does she look like naked and bent over!?
Always grateful for small pleasures, an additional pleasure: A few minutes later the driver pulls over and another young lass boards our ship to paradise. Same age, a tall hottie. The two ladies sit directly across from me, my knees an inch from the new gal's knees. She is quiet, po-girl clothes, pretending to look at everything but the rest of us in the carriage. I am wanting badly for her to pull down that mask for a minute so I can peek. But no. Wait. Maybe better for my imagination to run wild if she doesn't. What does THIS one look like naked and bent over (both with and without the mask)? Then: What would they look like together, naked, in my bed? What, is it my birthday?
Guess we will never know. While I was contemplating their beauty with my rising manhood, our tryke pulled in at its destination. We all stepped out. The couple got into another tryke. The tall hottie stepped into a third tryke. Me and my imagination/boner then walked/limped over to the coffee shop and enjoyed a cup of brew, contemplated rogering both of them, and grabbed another cup to take back to sleeping beauty.
A slice of paradise. Never know what you're going to get. Thanks Forrest!

Here is a Canadian article about Covid19 in Brazil, which has no 2 spot globally after the USA. It is one of the first articles I have seen that has linked Covid19 and poverty, which is usually a highway for diseases, plagues and pestilences.
I expect Covid19 to follow the HIV trajectory and cut a swathe through the world's poor who have no defenses. We still haven't learned why Iran, which has a relatively young population, was hit so hard early on.
What we do know is the Philippines and countries like it are going to get crucified. However, to the dirt poor, HIV and Covid19 are just one more inconvenience.
The Davos crowd are meeting now to reschedule the world and "protect the environment" through carbon taxes. The party is over. Goodbye, Philippines, I shall not return.

MANILA. Foreign tourists remain prohibited from entering the Philippines, an official said Monday as the country lifted its travel restrictions on nations with reported cases of more contagious variants of COVID-19.
Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles told ABS-CBN's Teleradyo: "I would like to clarify, the country's not open to toruists. It does not mean tourists can enter, only those who have valid and existing visa like investor's visa, foreign spouses, children and others included in the Bureau of Immigration order. ".
Travelers are required to undergo coronavirus testing after 5 days of quarantine or on the 6th day after their arrival, Nograles said.

Daily Tribune.
The Philippine gov't sets conditions for entry of foreign nationals amid the new Covid variant. Starting Feb. 1, arriving foreign nationals should have valid and existing visas at the time of entry, except for those qualified under the Balikbayan program. These foreign nationals should also have pre-booked accommodation for at least 7 nights in an accredited quarantine hotel or facility. They shall also undergo Covid-19 testing at the quarantine hotel or facility on the 6th day from the date of their arrival. The Bureau of Immigration has been directed to formulate the necessary guidelines in this regard.

In Philippines not all western men get kidnapped even in terrorism prone areas. For them it takes a long time to plan, target, scout, carry out the operation. For a casual visitor threat is very low.
If someone is scared of going next best thing is to bring the girl to where you are. I have brought many mindanao girls to Manila and Cebu. This has to be planned carefully. Need some work. Even then things can fall apart. Since flight tickets are cheap it is no big loss if the girl fails to show up.
Since the early poster seems to be serious about marriage and the girl and her family needs to meet him I would say he should make the trip. Usually girls family will protect him. But if he is going for fun only it is a problem. There is no need to meet family.

Of course, Roger is correct: it's an academic discussion until you can get into the country let alone her panties.

The good news is by the time you do get to travel to Ph, you will be finished with her.
