I came back here after several months because I thought we would have a certain normality around October, but through the news I found another reality. This pandemic will take more time. I always thought that the vaccine could begin to solve the pandemic but now we can see that no matter how many millions of vaccines we have, it will not be easy to reach 70% of vaccinated people in the world. I think we will spend all 2021 vaccinating ourselves.

What I miss the most about traveling is freedom. That wonderful chance to be in a place other than yours with the absolute certainty that everything will be fine every single day later.

After visiting I think 6 years several FKK I always knew that it would be just a chapter (with lots of fun). I will come back one day, without any hurry, when everything is normal, as before the pandemic. I see it difficult for that to happen this summer. See you one day Oase even knowing that many pretty faces will never be there again. I hope you are there Adina or Miss V. See you FKK in several months.

And if the vaccine is not the solution that is expected, first of all Pfister and Modena are not a vaccine but a genetic treatment (RNA) but if the authorities name it genetic treatment the people will be afraid so they name it vaccine. Let us assume the so called vaccine is efficient (which nothing is proving) how long will it be efficient, will it be efficient against the all the variant that are pop upping in the last months and more to come. Nearly 1 year latter the situation is getting worse and worse, may be it is just the beginning.

In sports the jantelov seems to be quite negative if you ask me. I totally hate it. It makes people introvert. Then again, my city is probably the least adherent to that law in Scandinavia. Malm is close second. But by other Scandinavians we are considered a bit rude and brash.

Don't fret too much. There are growing pains in vaccine distribution for sure. But remember, much of this low rate is due to vaccination being restricted to small segments of the population: healthcare providers and elderly. At least that's how it is in the States. Once the vaccine is released to the general public here, people will be able to go to local pharmacies, health departments, clinics, make-shift tent vaccination centers. In the US, we've vaccinated 4-5% of the population in one month growing from 500 K per day to 800 k Per day. The goal is to vaccinate 1 million per day. That's about 10% per month. Combined with the number of people who already have had the virus, we can easily, realistically reach the 70% for people capable of mounting a quick immune response (positive antibodies) by late spring.

It may take policy a few more months to catch up but the wheels are actually set in motion. Also, once the supply becomes available, the Europeans might be more efficient at delivering the vaccines. Our decentralized system in the US is proving to be a challenge despite the fact that we've been allotted more per capita than most other nations. The UK, despite the criticism, is doing a bit better.

My prediction is that even if herd immunity (70%) is not reached by summer, there will be an appreciable enough decline in cases and mortality that governments will rush a bit and lift the restrictions. Whether that entails Americans and East Asians being allowed to visit Europe, I'm not certain. But I'm willing to wager that intra-European travel restrictions will be lifted and tourism to southern Europe will be substantial in summer 2021.
