So I was in Dubai for about 5 nights. Overall, this is not a good time to be travelling or punting for sure. I'm used to the travel restrictions but the experience in Dubai from a punting perspective this time around compared to late last year was frustrating.

This happened to me at Moscow and at Regal, the table I got a space to sit on was with girls I did not like. There is no music in the clubs. At Regal, it is just like watching a movie on the big screen. There are also glass partitions, the 3 m rule in effect plus the capacity restriction.

My stay from a punting perspective wasn't all that bad although frustrating, since I used MR, and my previous contacts. I went out late last night to check out the scene and it is pretty disappointing at the moment. Got charged 150 AED for an entry free to red square, not sure if I got screwed but whatever.
