Hi all,

I'm from the USA and will be traveling to Dubai for a week. I do know to bring a negative PCR test and all requirements. I would like to visit Abu Dhabi for a day. Online I see mention of taking a Covid test at the border to enter Abu Dhabi and then quarantine for 10 days. But. There are people that have gone recently and said they only drive up to the border, get a rapid covid test, wait for negative results and are allowed in with no quarantine. Could someone please confirm? I'm planning to rent a car to go over there. Thank you.

Yes its true you can visit there with a rapid COVID test and you just need to wait for the results and then you can go there or you will be sent back and quarantine for 10 days.

DPI test is quick and one can enter Abu Dhabi, stay for a day and then leave. The PCR Test requirements are for people staying longer. But it does not apply to you as a Tourist. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to come to Abu Dhabi. Take a look at the article below.

In my opinion, don't bother coming to Abu Dhabi. Better quality of girls available in Dubai anyway. But you will miss the Grand Mosque!

Sometimes, someone's are operating from this base.

The right side elevator at the rear entrance does not even require a room card to bring you up to someone.

Depending on the someone, still scam may be possible as this has nothing to do with the venue.

You are right, just wanted to know if somebody had bad / good experiences with personnel operating from this that base. I've read some reports about avoiding certain areas / places.

My info is a bit out of date but thought I'd share. Prior to Covid lockdown I visited one in the Al Bateen area (a regal sounding name).
