Muito Obrigado
I just spent the last couple weeks RTFF 50+ pages or so and all / most of my questions have been answered, so muito obrigado gentleman. I'm a somewhat experienced hobbyist with tours of duty all over SEA and much of the Caribbean / Latin America but like many, find myself shut out of LOS and other locales by Kafkaesque Quarantines and other hassles and with the Real at a ridiculous exchange rate found myself researching and then committing to a Rio trip in May / June followed by a swing through Colombia June / July. I speak Spanish passably and so thought Portuguese would be an easy learn- which turns out to be an error. This is my first post to ISG, SEA countries were such a breeze that pre-trip recon was minimally necessary and although I have been aware of ISG, I've perused it only on the rare occasion.
Hopefully I will have some reports for you guys in a few months. My preference is for meeting garotas in person first and then taking them home- but it sounds like that's one of many options in Rio. So thanks again for this valuable resource and until I have a useful contribution to the page I'll just be reading.

Being right around the corner from Help, I got to know the manager at Vanity love motel pretty well. One time I saw him slyly slide a small manila envelope to my date. (Coming from Help the girls were dates, at least that was the illusion). So I asked him what is up and he said the girls get a referral fee from the motel. So depending on the amount, a girl might not bring you to the best, cheapest or closest. Your rate also might be a little higher to cover her referral fee.

It's like relying on a travel guide that hasn't been updated in a decade when visiting a country for the first time. Don't do it! Yes, there are some nuggets of advice in there, but that's greatly counterbalanced by the fact that so many valuable, specific details in it are very outdated. For example, in one of your cut and pastes, you included L'uomo as a major termas in Copacabana. All of us vets know that termas has been closed for years! If you're going to tout the guide, you should be more upfront about the serious weaknesses in it too given its age, and you should at least be careful not to spread misinformation as well, such as cutting and pasting specific information that is clearly out-of-date, with no note / explanation / correction.

If you have some very odd ball word you want to look up, for example "Mabs", you might get good results. Love motel, hourly hotel, hourly hotel in Copacabana, etc no. So you can spend hours scrolling through pages hoping to find it if it's in here.

I did a search like Sperto suggested and it took less than 2 minutes to find this. http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/...549&viewfull=1#post2517549.

Or, you could look in the proper thread -- Rio de Janeiro - Hotels & Apartments where on the last posted page on 09-01-2020 I made post #1772 with the title of, drum roll, Love Motels.

The problem is that there are thousands of posts on ISG but very few actual travellers due to covid-19.

I keep planning and dreaming but have never yet taken the leap. Things come up. And when I do it, I want to get my money's worth. I'm not asking anybody to pay for my plane ticket, I'm not asking for your credit card info, but you can't spend three minutes to list a few hourly hotels?
