Mississippi and Texas just relaxed the mandatory mask law and no longer require the public to wear masks. Hopefully the rest of the country will follow suit. If that happens maybe we can dump these required asinine tests to travel.

You need a negative test, but it doesn't have to be a PCR test.

The state department website (https://travel.state.gov/content/tra...formation.html) refers you to the CDC website for acceptable tests:

It states they accept both Antigen and PCR tests. You'll save a good amount of money getting an Antigen test and it's typically faster. I was just in Bogota and I didn't know this so I ended up paying $$ for a Rapid PCR (yes, they have Rapid PCR tests now as opposed to the much cheaper Rapid Antigen tests).

"Passengers must be tested with a viral test that could be either an antigen test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT). Available NAATs for SARS-CoV-2 include reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP), transcription-mediated amplification (TMA), nicking enzyme amplification reaction (NEAR), and helicase-dependent amplification (HDA)."

Yes Mezzanine is open. There is no quarantaine required as long as you enter Colombia with a negative PCR test from less than 96 hours.

After my fantastic trip last year that I reported on I am desperate for another. I keep thinking of how much fun I had at La Mezzanine.

Does anyone know if La Mezzanine is open right now? Since I have been working from home I figured I would work from Colombia for a week. Get a hotel near La Mezzanine (are the other MP's open in that area?) and be able to go there often from a hotel that is close by and still get my work done.

Also I read today that Colombia is requiring day quarantine on arrival.

-Does this mean you have to stay in your room etc for days?

-Do I need a COVID test to enter with proof and a COVID test to re enter the USA with proof?

If Colombia is too tough to get into right now due to COVID any suggestions other than Brazil (too far) to go for a working vacation?

It's hit and miss in Europe regarding mechanical service. It generally feels more transactional to me. I get the impression it weighs on the girls souls a bit more in the west. Maybe because of social differences and stigmas. I think a lot more guys are going down the sugar daddy route more often.
