1. For 10 nights, I would not recommend changing places. With AirBNB, you'll have to be out by 11 or 12 and probably can't check in to the new place until 3. You basically end up wasting the whole day. If you want to change, you might think about Dann Carlton. I've done that for a few days at the end of my trip. Never had a problem checking in at noon and it's chica friendly.
2. I, like most guys, us the ATM with a debit card (like Schwab) that reimburses your fees. I NEVER bring cash to exchange.
3. K and mil are the same. It means "thousand. " So 20 mil is 20,000. Some guys and girls simply say 20. For miliones, just add three more zeros. And COP is "Colombian pesos. ".
4. Price of a taxi depends on where they are coming from. Apps like Did and Driver are cheaper and you know how much you are paying. Some example of taxis. Laureles to Lleras - 13,000. Bello to Lleras. Could be as much as 30 mil, depending on what part of Bello. Popular 1 to Lleras - 24 mil. Popular 1 to Laureles - 16 mil. To Lleras, your highest taxi fees will be from Bello. Sabaneta. Upper parts of Robledo. Take a look at a map of the barrios of Medellin to see where they live in comparison to Lleras.

I've been reading the forum for some time and after going through numerous pages trying to hunt for answers, I figure it'll be easier to try and find them all here in one post.
I am considering a trip to Medellin sometime as soon as May or June. This will be a solo trip as well as my first time to Colombia. Now to the questions.
1. I am considering staying all 10 nights in the Parque Lleras area. I will get an Airbnb in the area which I'll be sure to make sure is guest / girl friendly. Is this area suitable for a 10 night stay? Or should I break it up and stay half the time here, and half elsewhere. If so, what is another good relatively safe area to stay?
2. as far as money goes. Should I bring US dollars and exchange for COP somewhere out there? Or is it best to just withdraw money out there from a bank, ATM, etc.
3. I am having a bit trouble understanding the Colombian currency. I have a COP converter app on my phone. But for instance I see some guys on here mention both "k" and "mil" , and for example I see somebody mentioned they paid a girl "80 mil" , what does this equate to in US dollars? I can understand the K conversion. But I would assume somebody is not paying 80 million cop pesos, right? Also I'm assuming it's best to pay the girls in cop pesos out there, rather than in US dollars?
4. For websites such as mileroticos, I notice the girls charge x amount for service, but are requesting a substantial more for a taxi. What's the average / reasonable rate for a taxi?

Meeting the family
With women if you really want to know if they like you for more than money, that is how. They introduce you to their parents or the family. In fact, with Latin cultures, that is probably even more important.
But it comes at a cost. It is like you are banging our daughter / sister and we want something in return. Sure some of the women working girl themselves out for fancy clothes and the latest Iphone but a lot, and really the truly better quality women, are doing it for their families.
Then there is the marriage pressure from mom, "So tell me when I am going to be a grandmother?
That is why when I see guys saying what studs they are being pretenders. If you think all that women care about is money, you will never even get to this point of meeting friends or family. And if you think you are getting the best sex when all a woman cares about is money, you are deluding yourself. The guys who have taken the SD angle know that is BS.
It is funny to read that guys here are like these "sugar babies" are all about money and are surely fucking other guys. I would first answer that by saying "So what?" I have had a number of American SBs with boyfriends and even had one who was married. I cared they looked good and fucked the shit out of me. Why would I care about what they did when I was not around?
If I did care about exclusivity, (and I do not, she is not mine, she is just my turn) and I was not around, then the family would be the best eyes and ears you could get. It is hard to imagine a woman more motivated than one who wants grandchildren.
With me, I am experimenting with trying to get the right percentage of the caring loving woman (not tonight honey, I have a headache) and the working girl who has to perform sexually. I have been doing trial and error but I am seemingly getting closer. From what I have seen, the caring loving woman route eventually leads to a shit sex life. The pure working girl route is like eating fast food, often tasty but nothing special.
Saying women are just interested in money bores me. And men are not interested in money? No, a better question is asking women what they need the money for. It is that question that leads to a whole new world of possibilities.

They can deal with that crap. Once in a while, I will step in but only if that leader is driving us off a cliff.

What you are talking about is hypergamy, women using men to swing to higher financial and social positions. It is well known and not even debated. This constant means to move up kind of gets hidden in Hollywood's all women are angels caricatures so we men have to tell each other about it and remind each other about how women really are.
The notion that women want sex as much as we do is pure BS too. Men have way higher testosterone levels than women and of course, a way higher sex drive. The manosphere guys says 17 X higher on average but on average to me is meaningless.
Two women I knew got hold of some spare testosterone. They injected themselves with it to see what would happen. The injectable type takes about a week to peak. Thing here that the men do not think about as much though is a woman fucking a lot of different men is going to have a lower social standing (it is the opposite for men) which is in conflict with the financial gain. I mistakenly thought prostitution being legal did not confer as much negative social status on a woman in Latin countries and maybe it is not as negative there but it is still pretty bad.
So that seems to be why a lot more women are willing to do the sugar baby thing versus the working girl thing.
But social status in Latin countries is different in Latin cultures than the USA in that social status has much more to do with family than friends, and I will tell you something Turgid the real test with a woman Latin maybe more than others is if they introduce you to their families. That is how you would know that it goes beyond a just sex for money exchange. Friends are a halfway point, but family is the real deal.
But it is not what you think. Let me break this down in another post.

Guys,
A regular that I knew from last MDE trip, walked away with my iPad and laptop along with a pair of shoes and perfumes that I had given her.
She has responded back voa text saying she thought those were gifts as well.
Obviously she is avoiding me now for few days and bullshitting that her grandfather is sick etc.
And we had an argument and now she claims they were for her time.
I have copy of her ID, Do I report her to police as a scam so that she does not do it again?
Or.
Suck it up as lessons learnt.
I was told that I could file an online denuncia. But is it worth the hassle?
You know that feeling when you feel cheated and taken advantage of,.
