Flight arrangements made. Arriving next week with lots of work planned. Hopefully the weekend will bring pleasure. Not really knowing what to expect. Quasimodo764 has responded with advice and I'm taking it. LOL. Going to be looking forward to that Ghana Lager Beer. Y'all get ready cause here I come.

Oh I'm sure that I was well over charged and to willing to pay if that's what scamming means. Plenty of gals hustling to beat the band.
Where are the so called "non scammers" found?

My work has me staying out of Accra except for weekends. I'm not familiar with Spintex or La Pass. In the past I'd use Jokers as my go to hit on place. Play some pool and survey the atmosphere. I've never been disappointed.

Masks are still required when going out. I've been going to hotels to see if the pros are around but it doesn't seem like they are as active as before.
Day time activities are quite good. I had a bit of luck near UPS at East Legon.

I will be in Accra in a couple weeks. Was wondering what to expect regarding night life. Are mask's required in enclosed settings? What bars are open? Been to the Hotgossip, Jokers, Honey Suckle, Champs, but not sure how these places are now. Please advise.

To add to Univelton's post about travel restrictions, if you're coming from the US, you also need a negative viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure. So, even if you're able to successfully leave the States, returning is where you throw the dice. Even with the vaccine, people can still carry the virus, and if your test comes back positive, you won't be allowed to return home, and you have to quarantine. That's why I'm waiting until later in the year. Hopefully, the restrictions will ease, at least on the US side, once the percentage of people vaccinated is a lot higher.

Looks restrictions on arrival are the same (from Ethiopian website): they do temperature screening, PCR must be negative, test taken in last 72 hours. Upon arrival, another test is done for $150 (big money equivalent for the whole week mongering).
You may be put under 7-day quarantine. Very harsh. The same info can be found on the IATA website. I now feel reluctant to try it this month.

Univelton, is everything open again in Ghana? Any restrictions on arrival? I'd love to get back sooner or later.

Hi guys, I've managed to save up enough for a trip in the fall of this year. I had planned to go in 2020, but that was a washout. I'd like to go to west Africa, and after reading the forums, have narrowed it down to either Ghana or Gambia. It'll be my first time in the west (been to the east twice). It seems easy enough to pick up pros in both places (beach in Gambia, Jokers in Ghana). What I'm looking for is if someone has experience in both countries regarding non-pros in personality, friendliness toward westerners, and which is easier to pull girls from for one-nighters. If looks matter, I'm 40, muscular, and half Arabic / Mediterranean heritage. I'd like to make a decision now, so I can start planning my trip accordingly. I know Ghana requires a YF vaccine, which would be difficult to track down from where I live. Any input would be appreciated.
