Posts: 12First time trip in 2 weeks
Hello gentleman,
I will be making my first trip to the DR in a few weeks. I have a room reserved at BLackbeards for a few days. I was wondering if anyone has been there recently and could help me with some girls to try as well as ones I would be better off avoiding. Thanks in advance.

I came back from Blackbeards a few days ago, was there for only a day and change and had to fly out. Everything is normal, the girls were fine, meet some cool dudes there as well that helped me with a phone connection. They have a place were you can go to take the antigen covid tests that were accepted by jet blue when I came back to the states. I'll be back in a month or so.

What I am curious about, the reason why I wrote to the original poster as to whether he has had a personal experience is that, the three other places would not budge from their 72 hours time horizon. This other place on the other hand is speaking of an hour? A typical PCR test in my personal experience, took about 24 hours on two occasions I took it. So I am little skeptical of the kind of test this lab in POP is doing. As you said, only PCR and Antigen tests are acceptable by the CDC and if it is truly one hour, it has to be a "rapid Antigen test".
I would be curious to know more about it, including the acceptance of such a test by the airlines, not to speak of how reliable, in reality, the service is, in terms of their one hour promise and the duration of process. I know someone who went to Clinica Bournigal and had to hang around, essentially for the whole day, just for the sample, apparently in a crowded space.

"Both PCR and antigen testing are available from a variety of private laboratories and facilities. The USA Embassy has prepared a list of private testing providers in the Dominican Republic. Local service providers can administer a COVID-19 test, with results typically available within 72 hours. Please note the test must be a viral test (PCR or antigen) and NOT an antibody test. ".

If I wanted to go to BB soon, I would send this question to the hotel. I assume they have this scenario in mind and have procedures in such a case.
