And in the case of new Zealand and Australia living, they're islands so that can help.
Well UK is an island too but it's ruled by a clown and I guess more travelers come and go from the continent. And the density is not the same.

Posts: 2344What I find amusing is that when he specifically says to compare Sweden to the rest of the world, and then given the data he specifically asked for, he suggests that another man is psychologically manipulating him and just moves the goal posts and cherry picks UK and Italy specifically. I wonder why he specifically only wants to include nations who suffered a bulk of casualties before implementing lock downs? Perhaps also to use oversimplified data to make his case while ignoring data that rebukes his assertions.

Posts: 796In which country do they report this supposedly much smarter number??
P.S.: I am ok if you trash German politicians. But if you say that your nations engineers, doctors and scientists are much better than the Germans, it is easy to guess where you come from. (the one nation that is constantly calling to be blessed by god, right?

Further evaluation of the curriculum appears that they are taught bits and pieces every year rather than an intensive course condensed into a year. That actually seems like a better way to actually slowly learn and digest the material. That being said, the early years must be a very survey type course as the program does not introduce quadratic equations until later. Regardless, the idea of school age children learning even the basic concepts of physics makes me happy.

Posts: 796Entirely agree. BTW: the harsher the lockdowns the better they work. See New Zealand, Australia, and many parts of Asiapac, e. G. China, S Korea. Did you see the final of the americas cup? Wow. 10's of thousands of people raving in the harbour with few having masks on.
The only problem is: FKK sucks in the far east (incl OZ).

Sweden: no lockdown.
OUTCOME: 10 times more deaths than in Norway, 9 times more deaths than in Finland, 3, 5 times more deaths than in Denmark.
Your conclusion: lockdowns don't work.
Strange logic at work.
Yes, lockdowns don't work if you want to exterminate the population.
Sweden is on par with Brazil. You can only hope that Brazil is underestimating its deaths. As Bolsonazi said: "we're not a country of faggots".
They did better than Switzerland. For about a month.
They did better than Ireland. For something like a week in April 2020.
What a great model!

Posts: 2344Oh wait, he chose to select using deaths and heavy lock downs.
Well, lets look at Sweden versus the most strict lockdown nations.
