Some not professional, not even earning money, use doping just to improve performances or just to make more muscles. I love performances, I usually give up my climbing's when I feel I'm not good enough and return on next day to try again, but I hate medicines, I prefer fresh milk and mountains water. My passion is my doping, why I'm able to make incredible violent efforts and ignoring pain, not sure so many professionals would do even for money. And now professional bicycle racers just do what their ear tell them, not interesting, when I like when formula 1 pilots say to their engineer: let me do, I feel the car.

No sport is pure. Sure, the most skill is involved in a sport, the relative importance of doping decreases, but it's still there.
