OH man, you are on a roll. The Latinas as supposed to be amazing. I did a Mexican recently and it was pretty great.

The late night stuff is always a bit of a hit and miss. Everyone is tired and has a big dinner. Such a shame you could not get the second time around. I love the morning stuff. Especially since I wake up way earlier than them and have to spend a few hours waiting. So Coco left this week, thankfully have a replacement in place. Since there were concerns raised about these girls eating on our dime and generally having a good time without putting out, I have been paying more attention to how this works. Wanted to share an experience of a meal which led to being in bed and a terrible one.

The Terrible One.

The girl's place was on my way to the lunch restaurant so offered to pick her up. There was some hesitation on sharing the map, but not serious. Showed up at her place. She was down promptly. Dressed appropriately for lunch. Had send her the name of the restaurant and seems she had checked it out. Was very condescending about everything and the nothing was good enough for her. My car was not a Bently and got to hear the wonderful story about her ride in the Bently. Also got a tour of all the DIFC places. See'est La Vie, Amazonico, LPM, Mina, the Four Seasons Bar, the Ritz outdoor Bar etc.

The lunch place is right by the sea, outstanding views and even better food. She was surprised at how nice it was but quickly regained her composure and returned to bitching about there not being a DJ spinning tracks. The menu is very italian, she was lost outside of the pasta section and burratta in the appetizers, tried to help her out but she was intent on struggling through it. So she gets.

1 Ceaser Salad with Chicken.

2. Plain pasta with Tomato Sauce.

Pretty much the worse things you can order at this place. She is gets herself a pink cocktail and another one later in the meal.

I got sliced octopus and lamb and a water.

Desserts were to share and coffee for me.

The meal was an endless description of the std DIFC places and how she watched what she ate, how SA is a waste of time, problems with Dubai. I braved through the lunch and put her in an Uber. Her part of the bill was slightly more than mine mainly due to the drinks.

The Good One.

She insisted on taking a cab. Arrived 10-15 minutes after I did. Very casually dressed. The restaurant was at a hotel. While she was walking up, saw her take some selfies / pics of the lovely lobby. Happy with the place but was very hungry, this is a sea-food place known for oysters. She wanted Oysters of course, ordered a very reasonable amount of them. White wine + Salmon and wine later on. I had Oysters, sea bass and coke. Desserts for each and coffee for both. Her bill was again slightly more than mine. We did not speak about any other restaurants, she told me about her life, how she came to be in Dubai, some current events and plans for rest of the year.

At some-point, I asked whether her second half was free. She was free and I made the bookings at the same hotel. Checked in after the meal. Sex was good but she is generally fun and lovely.

Bearing in mind that these are lunch meetings, the ability to create excess is limited but in both the circumstances the girls did not go over the top, were perfectly reasonable in ordering. Both the places had lobsters on the menu but that was never ordered, they also have some really expensive wines in the menu but the drinks orders were reasonable. In both cases, I had offered additional drinks and was declined. Desserts were at my insistence and sweet tooth. Left to them, they would not have ordered it.
