OK guys rookie question here.

I usually do my travels in east Asia but due to the current bans, I've decided to take a trip down south. I'm looking at either Costa Rica or Rio. Costa Rica is 500 dollars cheaper (for flight and hotel) but Rio looks like more fun.

Quick answer: Go to Rio.

Rio is far more cosmopolitan. The working girls are hotter and as has been said over and over again far more sexual. The food is better. The beaches are better (and sexier) and right out your door. No long bus trip or car rental to get to Jaco Beach. I also recommend a day or two of Rio sightseeing for newbies. If you are 30, you might try your hand at clubbing or the famous street parties in Rio.

There are some nice working girls in CR. However, there are many girls who come to Costa Rica from Central America, Colombia and the DR to make a quick buck who don't give a shit about pleasing their male sponsors. Gambling is about the only thing where CR has an advantage. If you enjoy gambling, I would suggest you prioritize that on a separate vacation.

I did something similar once in Colombia. I sat in the hotel lobby and waited, only the lobby actually wasn't that crowded. I used to do something similar. I used to stay in an apartment on Rua Santa Clara. Right next door to the apartment was a restaurant / bar I would get the front table right next to the building front door and wait for the escort to show up but this was during the days when Escort companies like 'CIA' or 'Company girl' were in business.
