Again, I stayed at the Mercure Times Square in Moema. There was a decent grocery store within walking distance. There was a nearby barbershop. And although not as close as Bourbon, it was walking distance to Ibirupuera Shopping Center where there are a gazillion places to eat on the lower level. Also plenty of ATMs around, including in the shopping center plus a money exchange place there. And restaurants around on the streets. Moema is an excellent choice for all of these reasons, besides the fact that it's close to lots of clinicas for your daytime action. The only negative to consider is airport noise. I did not experience any problems with that when I stayed at the Mercure Times Square. Also had no problem bringing a girl in. She wasn't dressed like a tute, and we walked right past the desk no issues.

Another hotel to consider is Bourbon Convention Ibirapuera. I stayed there as well as in Mercure So Paulo Moema Hotel. I like Bourbon Convention better because Ibirapuera shopping mall is steps away and it is better soundproofed than Mercure. That area felt very safe. Also close to some of the clinicas.

Stayed at Mercure Pinheiros last time and it was in a great spot to walk to things. Unfortunately Bomboa moved because it was two blocks away. Shame. But you might check out Pinheiros. It's pretty cool and walkable.
Bomboa is now right across the street from Marriott Apartments though cannot really cross the street with the traffic divider. This hotel is really cheap now and is walking distance to the largest park in SP.

    Mercure São Paulo Moema Hotel.

    Transamerica Executive Paulista.

    Mercure São Paulo Pinheiros.

Most important factor is the proximity to the clinicas. It doesn't look like there are any decent hotels near Scandallo. I suppose I'll just taxi there.

According to Natty, Mercury São Paulo seems to be the best bet, with clinicas in walking distance throughout Moema.

I plan on getting a 4 night stay to see if I like it. Then I can either extend or find a new hotel.

My plans are slowly coming together. I'm getting my second shot this week and plan on flying to SP 1 month after (early June). Cost looks to be about $550, which I'll probably pay with points.

Moema sounds like a great place to stay. I recently started looking at hotels, but am not sure what to look out for. Location and price wise, "Green Place Ibirapuera" and "Estanplaza Ibirapuera" both look pretty good. Should I worry about "guest friendly" policies? Or are most of my adventures going to be in the clinicas and short term hotels?

Also, seems like a short trip to Rio De Janiero is only about $50 round trip. I'm going to stay 2 weeks in Sao Paulo. I "should" probably mix things up and do a 3 day trip to Rio, right? It looks like RDJ has much more abundant info regarding hotels on this forum (dedicated thread).

Thanks for your help! And I hope to post FRs in about a month!

Edit: Just found some old (from 2019) info for Sao Paulo hotels. I'm going to check that out. Looks like Steve69 recommends Pullman Ibirapuera. It's slightly more than what I want to spend, but at least I know they have a guest friendly policy. Might stay there for 1 week.

Well about three days in, she confesses she is having trouble sleeping from my snoring. So we agree we need to get earplugs when we go souvenir shopping that day. We do all sorts of little souvenir shopping and she buys a cool hat she rocks at the club that night. But at some point she stops me on the street and says "oh my gosh I forgot. We need to buy tampons" and I am like oh fuck me in the ass with a sharp stick. Of all the times to have her period. Goddamit.

But it turns out to be an error in translation! She meant ear plugs! I guess they both stop up a canal. LOL.

So that's the reason why they sell a cozy apartment so cheap and I was wondering what's the catch? Too bad and it's so beautiful

What are some general tips that you have for staying safe in So Paulo? I've been told by many users on Reddit that I should avoid going to Rio for my first time in Brazil because of the high crime there.

Also, I plan on hiring a few escorts when I'm there so I wanted to know if these girls charge a "Gringo" price for foreigners that I need to be aware of? I already know that GP Guia is the website to look up reviews of escorts so I will be using that when I'm in Brazil.

I'm currently learning Portuguese right now so that way I can speak and understand a little bit of it when I'm interacting with the girls there. I know a lot of foreigners that try to go to another country and don't speak their language, and the locals find that annoying so I'm going to learn as much Portuguese as possible.

Please let me know any tips and tricks you have for a foreigner's first time in Brazil!
Seems like you read the board. Your question is too broad, but do not spend more than what locals pay at boates which is 400-600 R / HR. Clinicas are fixed priced.

If you want to be near the popular clinicas, Moema is the place. It's a nice residential area. I have never stayed there, but I surmise that staying close to Shopping Ibirapuera (mall) puts you close to many amenities and the clinicas.
Moema is a wonderful place to stay. This is the decadent area of SP with lots of clinicas and swing clubs and good restaurants, all within walking distance. You can wake up, grab something to eat near your apt, walk to a clinica to bang your favorite chica, and walk back to your apt to bang on your laptop. When you are tired of banging on your laptop, you can then walk to another clinica to bang another chica. You can repeat this cycle as much as you want.

Airbnb has amazing places listed in both of your suggested locations. So I think I'll spend a week in each! I'll take your advice and double down. Clinics during the day, Scandallo during the evening along w Private55 and ClubM beauties to keep me occupied too.

Look forward to sharing my reviews of both areas and of course the Brazilian bunnies. Thanks Wyatt.
