So with my 1st Terma experience in mind, my expectations for Solarium were not very high. But surprise surprise, I really liked Solarium. I went there around the same time as I went to Centaurus the day before, but this time I found a lively and very friendly atmosphere. That AirBnB looks a little spartan. I myself don't stay in luxury, but I personally would upgrade a bit. I'm always leery when there are more photos of local scenery than the apartment itself. The good thing about traveling there during the Brazilian winter is you won't depend on the air-conditioning. This is the biggest issue for me when renting inexpensive private apartments in the tropics. AirBnB owners often don't replace air-conditioning wall units on a timely basis. No one wants to be fucking and sweating in a hot apartment. In fact, you're more likely to get a girl to hang around longer (no guarantees though) if you have a decent apartment.

Thanks Spidy, I am happy to pay back, in the form of my current trip reports, all the solid contributions made by those BM's who went before me. I also appreciate the fact that you understood what I was alluding to in my post about my visit to Centaurus. It was an ambiguous experience. On the one hand I liked the girl and the session with her was first rate, but on the other hand, I was not very impressed with Centaurus itself. There were only 4 or 5 girls in attendance in the bar, mine was the only attractive one, and the bar itself was rather lifeless and dull. Maybe it was an off day, maybe 4:30 was too early, I don't know, but I left the bar thinking there has to be a better Terma in RJ.

The last time I went to Centaurus was in 2019, and things had really, really fallen off there. It was rather sad, and I discussed it in my report.
