I got it in one day.

At first I did not realize it, because they don't send you an email to notify you.

So as member Advantageous states in his post #3642 from 25 Feb you have to open your page on the official eVisa site, where you made the application, that's where you see the box " issued" .

Once you press there you find the links for "download" and "print " the Visa.

However the issuing site states that they can not guarantee the number of days for the response.

One other thing is that you have to fill in a self-statement about your health etc, once you completed that and send it in they will send you a QR code that you have to show upon arrival, as far as I understand.

Nowadays one prefers to book everything later than early. Site says process needs your return ticket, hotel address and a new colour photo.

You get your E-Visa very fast. 1-2 Working Days. In February I did the E-Visa 2 Weeks before my Flight to Mombasa and got it the next Day.

For Airline Ticket I just upload an Screenshot from the Mail with the Flight. My Picture was about 4 or 5 Years old. The Hotel address was not correct and for the required Hotel Reservation I uploaded an Screenshot from my Whatsapp Conversation with the Hotel Owner haha. They don't check all these things very accurately.

Quite simple. I spent only three weeks in Addis for the simple reason I had another three weeks before my work contract started in Europe.
