I'm looking for some information about travelling to Pattaya and Bangkok druing the April timeframe. Specifically, I'd like to experience the new year festivals, but not be hampered by it unduly.

Are the bars and various ASFO related places open, or closed?

What other pitfalls should I avoid while travelling during that month? Places to avoid, etc.

I've been to Thailand once before (Oct 2001) and would like to see more of the country, while still experiencing some of the same sanuk. I enjoyed Bangkok and Phuket, although there were deluges that only a rat would have enjoyed.

I think you have this wrong, how can you say the guy is doing something wrong when he agrees to support and marry a girl and she keeps on working? Yes, we all know the guy is a fool for ever thinking these girls are anything other than a playtoy to be used. But many of these guys really think their little angel is just waiting for them to come back to them.

Really the only thing wrong with the guys is they believe the girls. Never believe a Thai girl because they all just want to take everything they can get.

You are right I post to stop another guy from falling for the same trap. Will it work do ypu think? I know in most cases it will not becauce the guys just want to believe that their LBFM is different.

It really burns me that fellow travelers like us side with and aid these girls to screw more guys coming to LOS. But JuiceSpike is right these guys who help the girls to screw us are loosers.

The big looser in this case is the US Military Officer who will be marring Prim in the near future. And the guys coming here for fun because Prim is a very good little screw, any way you want her she is up and ready for it.

It would be easy to write a long and witty retort to Sex Review's latest. Better to remember PNG's report where he exposed one of these scams. None of the farang "victims" wanted to know.

These women, pretty and young though they are, are the bottom of Asia's very deep barrel. Farangs love them because they want to love someone, anyone. They are sad creatures who cannot be helped as a group.

Consider the Find the Lady trick with three cards. Guys still fall for it, thousands of years on.

PS: On another point: I did not take a 5 baht or more sonthauw at all in Pattaya. But some Aussie did and he was charged 150 baht. He handed in a 500 baht note anbd got 350 lao gip, worth about 10 baht in change. The driver was arrested.

I stand by what I have posted here, but any guy that helps a girl screw a fellow Farang is just a worthless piece of shit. Sorry if the shoe fits it is yours. And don't for one minute think the girl will stop working the bar and become good because that is not the case.

Look at the girl Prim, I posted about here, she took one guy for almost 400,000 baht all the time still working the bar and still living with her American boyfriend. And he would check her email, send replies and cover for her so she could keep the money coming in. Sounds like he was her pimp, don't you think?

So did all that cash stop her from working the bar or keep her with the guy? No, she took the money and moved onto another sucker. Now she has a real sucker who plans to marry her soon. But has Prim told him about her past? Has Prim told him about living with her American boyfriend for the last two years?

If it was love why does she keep doing short times? The answer is simple, Prim is what she is just a bar girl Wh..e out to screw guys out of everything and anything she can and getting help from a fellow farang. Sorry it just makes me sick.

I gotta side with Juice on this one. Let's say a guy helps a HO write an email or two that deceives the SUCKER into sending her a few bucks so that she will stop hookin' and be a good girl while she is a wait'n just for him.

And let's also consider that this guy or piece of shit (POS) helped her out so that he could get a groove on without pay'n. Is it such a big deal? I think not.

The rule of "caveat emptor" should have been drilled into all of our heads since the day we were born, "Buyer Beware." After all, if you are buying something, the purchaser should well know that it is up to him to inspect the goods.

Just because someone does something we might consider against the grain for a fuck shouldn't make us hate the man. And if it should then maybe we should have Jackson start a new thread called, "How did you make your money." That might start a whole new topic of moralistic debate.

I think you make a point but the reality is that the girls will do it with the help of a Farang or not. I know of many internet shops have a Thai woman help write emails to Farangs. It is an elaborate game that needs no Farang help. Besides, to me, in Thailand anything goes and if a Farang helps so be it. The guy receiving the email should have never got involved with a ho in the first place.

I beleive nothing the girls tell me. Their lies are so obvious that is beyond me how some guys fall for them....

I think you missed the point, it is one thing to help a bar who**e to write a email, giving help with spelling and terms etc. It is another thing to help these LBFM write emails with the sole purpose of playing the guys and getting them to send the girls money. It is another thing to help a bar girl play four or five guys and help them set it up so that no two of them come to town during the same weak.

These guys that write emails to help the girls screw over other men is something very different. So which class of helper to you fall in ? I hope and believe the first because anyone who helps these girls screw over the guys is very a piece of shit.

Review - when I was there in May/June, ran into numerous Marines who were there for CG. Funny thing was than several had NO idea that as I put it to them "Gentlemen, you are standing at ground zero of the world's larget "'ho-house" - everything you see is available for a price, for some of maybe even for free"... (and the lecture/advice went on for a couple of minutes - where upon they left "better informed and prepared" in their desired pursuits. Unlike Cinderella, they became pumpkins at 0200 and had to be back at U-tapao I think.) I THINK they listened to me...

Marines are always willing (well, some of the group were professing to attempting to be "faithful") to sample a little "Suzie". (Never mindful of the fact that if they are sampling "Suzie" there is a likelihood that others might be going to same well when they are not around). As I digress...

BUT - placed into a combat situation, that all changes and the drummed in TRAINING takes over. So have no fear that when the situation necessitates they WILL DO just as they have LEARNED to do.

Anyway - I "helped" a girl write e-mail (actually text message) with simple "an-grit" spelling. Why not? It's certainly not like she wouldn't have sent the message anyway (laughable as it would have been). Of course, she was setting up her dance book and may have been preparing for the "kill" later, but _I_ am not the target (besides, I hope we are all big boys and able to take care of ourselves - even if we sometimes do think with the pom lek first)

No, I did not but it would be quite common to find her in that area, as her live in American "Boyfriend/Handler" lives in the area so she would try to get clients to stay in the area. Easy for her to leave for a few minutes and go home. I’m sure with the amount of time you spend here that you have seen her, but she is a really hard core working class pro. But semi off the market now as she has a new fool on the hook and is playing him for everything she can.

I have always supported the US Military but when you see the way many of these guys act when around these girls it is a wonder that they can even function as a great powerful unit. Time and time again you see them fall for these working girls and send them thousands of baht each month. All the while they think their little honey is waiting for them to return, and they are out doing everyone they can.

I really don't have a problem with the way the Thai girls act, after all they are just doing what comes naturally to them. You could say it is just part of their makeup and character. I do have a problem with fellow foreigners who help these girls screw the guys over, writing emails for them, giving them information and ways to get more cash from the marks etc.

It is hard enough for most guys coming here to keep a level head around these LBFM but when other foreigners start helping them and plotting with them that is way over the line.
