With me being ethnic and average height (5'10), do I stand a chance or should I look elsewhere? I'm a decent looking fella, but I have read that Brazilian men are very good-looking, so I assume local competition is fierce.
I don't think your ethnicity matters that much. Some girls will like certain types, some will like other types.

If you're considered good-looking wherever you're from, you'll be considered good-looking in Brasil.

Dude, all types of guys do well in Brazil. Naturally, other types of men will fair better than most. But make no bones about it, unless your hideously grotesque, you will do just fine. And yes, not too worry, Brazil has tons of curvy women.

As mentioned in the SP (Sao Paulo) thread, in the city of SP (and Rio to a lesser degree), there happens to be a large Middle Eastern Arab and African, diaspora. So moving and living in places like SP (and Rio) will serve you well, w/r to finding, dating and "partnering-up", with your desired woman of choice.

But dude, you're gonna have to do some ISG research and reading FIRST. ISG search feature is your friend. Please try and RTFF! (Also try to post your questions in the appropriate thread, for best responses).

Continue to ask you questions, RTFF and report back on your experiences and findings.

    Boa sorte and good luck.

You are correct, I will take advantage of the rates in two and a half weeks.

Now its more than double. However, to be fair, things in general are more expensive now as well. All that being said, there are bargains to be had. Particularly, if you have a good imagination. Enjoy!

Exchange rate should be looked in the context of cost of goods. What was the price range for the goods we care about here in popular boetes when the exchange rate was 1. 5 to 2. 5?

    Accidentally is a KW though.

The majority of those scientists / news people seem to believe Pfizer vaccine is about the same effective on p1 and all other variants, even the new India variant.

    Just FYI.
Depends what you're willing to believe in, LOL.

Brazilian variant (P1): A small laboratory study using vaccine sera suggests roughly equivalent neutralisation of this variant, although two other laboratory studies, published as preprints, suggest antibody titres were reduced by 2.6-fold and 14-fold. The impact is yet to be confirmed in clinical trials.

So 3 different studies (albeit small ones) and the results are all over the place.

This article, though, seems to concur with your findings.

No doubt you are wondering what this means for vaccines, such as the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines, that have been used to immunize (at least one dose) over 140 million people in the United States. Here the news is encouraging. Serum from individuals who received the Pfizer vaccine had titers of neutralizing antibodies that were only slightly reduced for P.1 compared to the original SARS-CoV-2 virus. Therefore, the vaccine is predicted to be highly protective. This is another example of a vaccine providing more protection than a natural infection.

Have you worked as a police officer? Have you worked as a police officer in Brazil? It's a constant battle between life and death, and unfortunately a police officer was shot dead by the criminal faveladas in the raid that the police had to carry out.
