Yeah, but these women arn't young. Are things back home that bad that it's worth the hassle of going to a new country on the off chance of a better life? Though having said that this woman I speak of is as happy as buggery. Even enjoys it when it rains all the fucking time.

Mostly it's the combo of coming to Australia on a dodgy visa grant, then realising that they have to have basic English to get a job.

No English means no work. Asians will give up the moot very easily and let's be honest here, the Chinese will do anything for a quid.

Agree, they have to contact trace and publish the places that are covid hotspots.

I reckon the priority is covid not whether anyone has been to a brothel or massage shop. The real issue is have these businesses been collecting visitor data to enable contact tracers to do their job. Probably not.

They moved to Alfrieda St at the start of 2020 which I said to the mamasan was a risky move since the new premises was in a fully residential zone unlike east esplanade which had the train line opposite. During the lockdowns this place was still operating and had a high number of customers. Suffice to say, I guess neighbours called LE because of the high amount of "visitors" during the lockdown, and subsequently the place was busted and shut down (it was on Channel 7 news). Spoke to the mamasan earlier this year who is facing court charges and hence at the moment has no intentions to start up again, which is a shame since she'd been operating for around 15 years.
