Yep, noticed some places already closed, specially in central areas. How long do you think it will be until back to some kind of normal?

Even some veggie places are being affected by this and besides our hobby being affected the whole city will be under serious scrutiny.

This visit goes back to May, but a friend and I visited 3 locations and I'm quite curious about what happened.

First location was a place called "Judy's" opposite the Kerry Center. This isn't the location I expected as everything I saw on the Internet said that Judy's and Manhattan are on the same road, but this place bills itself as Judy's.

Friend and I went in around 8:30 pm on a Tuesday. It was quiet, but with several girls in attendance. There was a table of foreign guys with about three very cute girls hanging around. Eventually that group left. There were also other attractive girls. Clearly Chinese. With a table of Chinese guys. My friend and I were approached by two Viet girls who were not my cup of tea. Offering short time for 1500. Other than them we didn't get approached by other girls. There were two women alone. Both very made-up who seemed totally preoccupied with phones. Wouldn't make eye contact.

We next went to Manhattan. Got in around 10:00 pm. Packed with Chinese guys and dozens of very attractive Chinese women all clearly working. Got hit up by a middle aged Mongolian girl, and a cute but desperate Viet girl but couldn't get ANY of these Chinese girls to pay us any mind. Another foreign guy seems to have had the same experience. 100% Chinese pick up bar from my perspective. Three drinks and we walked to another bar at the end of the road calling itself Judy's 2? On the second floor.

Place was very dead with girls walking around. After trying to get a cute Chinese girl's attention, I finally asked her in Chinese, "you don't like foreign guys?" She apologized and said she assumed we couldn't speak Chinese and she'd be happy to come over if we bought a bottle.

So this joint, the girls seemed to be working for the bar.

I only come to Shanghai once and awhile on business and was finally curious enough to check these spots out, but they were far from what's been described here even recently. What gives?

Everything is explained on the website and a simple google translate will alow you to read it if you don't speak chinese.

Basically each time someone posts something he can hide some infos (including address or contact infos) from the public view and set a price in credits to reveal this info.

If you want to gain credits without paying you do just that and then spend the credits people pay you on other people's contributions. Otherwise you need to purchase credits as explained by a previous poster.

What seasoned monger in Shanghai doesn't know about Maria? She is a Shanghai classic. Her reviews on NLO are pretty accurate. She's been reviewed a lot on that other site that cannot be named. Just wanted to upload a recent experience for you all to stay safe out there. I was at M a few weeks back, didn't take any girl back home but I spent some time talking to a pleasant Viet there. Before I left I asked for her WeChat and in the following weeks we shot a few messages back and forth.

Some days ago I stayed at a hotel in Shanghai, I live out of town but travel frequently to Shanghai for business. I asked the Viet if she wanted to spend the night, which she agreed to. Around midnight she had a few phone calls from a friend, and in the early morning there were some frantic messaging with her friends. It turned out that the Police had raided her apartment as well as other apartments of Viets either cohabiting or living nearby. My Viet was lucky as she was staying in the hotel with me. She explained they had all come to China in October and had overstayed their visa's, hence they are here on illegal grounds. She was very scared, called a Chinese dude which probably was her pimp or so, asking for a new sim card and a new place to stay. She didn't dare to go back home because she was suspecting the apartment was under surveillance.

For all you guys who f*ck girls from M be aware that they can bring you trouble. Personally I wouldn't be too worried bringing a girl to my hotel, but I'd have concerns visiting their home. Anyway, that's all up to your choice. Law enforcement is reading this site daily so whatever we know they will know as well.
