Thanks. I am able to walk across bridge 2 and will this put me in walking distance from CIITEV?

Nuevo Laredo will maintain, at least for 15 more days, the restrictions imposed by the state government on Covid-19.

In the decree published yesterday in the Official State Newspaper, the current measures are extended, until at least July 31, among which are the sale of alcohol -in warehouses, supermarkets and convenience stores- allowed from Monday to Friday until 8:00 at night, on Saturdays until 3:00 in the afternoon and on Sundays as "Dry Law".

I thinking cross the border, check out boystown, then head back over in the evening or early morning. What's the safest way to do that?

    Is boystown open?

Though I'm more of a hotel and outcalls kind of guy.
    Yes,

Boystown is fully open. Although very slow during the week. It gets better Friday and Saturday. Sometimes I cruze thru Sunday morning its still almost full of cars.

Downtown is very slow also during the week. Picking up on weekends. Jarochos hasnt seen a large crowd since it reopened. The larger crowds were in malinche and safari.

Sad to say, the hotel and outcall in NL is pretty dismal. There are a few, but I haven't found anything I really liked.

BTW, I've lived in NL since 2001. I do think the shooting and violence is a little exaggerated. Not saying it doesn't happen. But in just over 20 years I have only seen personally one time.

I was eating at the applebees and shots were fired on the main street in front. The manager hurled all people in the restaurant back into the small area in the back for about 15 to 20 min.

I have heard of shots being fired in other place from different people quite a few times.

I just made a round trip a couple weeks ago, NL to Monterrey, then to Tampico. Then back to NL. I used the bus. Didn't see any problems. I was wanting to go back because I had made.

A lot of personal contacts, but this situation about the NL to Monterrey highway spooked me a little. But I read all the media in English and Spanish. It looks like right now, personal vehicles are.

Being carjacked on the free road. But still may be better for me to go to Reynosa then straight to tampico to avoid the highway for now.

If anyone elses knows any more about the highway situation please let me know.

Ah, that's a little too much for a days fun.

There any love hotels on this side of the border?

Skip Laredo and head to MTY. This is the safest way.

One point of clarification. I do feel Laredo is safe during the day and early evening, probably safer then most American Cities. At night, is a different story, you do have to be very careful.
