    Pretty little trouble-maker

First trip to DR. I have done my homework. Read the forum. Gotten some questions answered by DCups, through PM. Thank you!

Lined up bunch of chicas using Dominican Cupid. Chatted them for days, including video chats to make sure they are real. Staying in a nice apartment in Santo Domingo, close to Zona Colonial. Time to get someone from my list hopefully for the night. I call Ashley. She turns on the cam on WhatsApp. A good sign that she is real. Cute, slim, young spinner. Exactly the way I like it. She says she can come right away.

    "Will you stay overnight?

"No, I need to be back, to take care of a little girl overnight. ".

    "How long then?" I ask.

"Until 7:00 pm. For three hours. ".

"Just three hours?" I am disappointed.

    "What you want from me?

She seems to hesitate then tells me, "4,000".

I tell her that is too much. I will give you 3,000. But you need to "run" twice.

She lifts her top and flashes her boobs. I lose my mind. There is no bra and those things look attractive. I say, "Fine. Pero sin condon".

She agrees. After some hesitation. Just to be sure, I confirm, twice. She asks my location. "I take Uber. " Soon I find out, girls call any car an Uber.

I agree. I ask that she send me her live location. She does not know how. I ask her to send me her location, once in Uber. Then again when she is half way. Her location is changing. A good sign.

She makes it to my place. In person, she looks cuter than on camera. My heart is racing.

As soon as she is inside, she asks if I want her friend. Friend can stay with me overnight.

I am not in a mood for threesome. Ashley alone looks pretty good deal. She is no rush. Signs into WiFi. Takes her pictures with my phone and her own. She is excited to be inside a big clean apartment with so many mirrors. I can't contain my excitement. I play with her boobs while she surfs the Facebook.

"Cerveza?" I ask her. "Si" she says with unexpected enthusiasm. We finish a biig bottle of Presidente Light. Time to show her the bedroom.

She is OK with everything. Cooperative. Passionate. I don't last for long.

As I finish, she looks down and freaks out. I have flooded her completely.

She runs to the banos screaming words that I can not understand.

Comes out all dressed. Upset that she will get pregnant.

I try to calm her down. I have PlanB pills. Relax.

She gets more agitated. "Give me the money. I go. ".

"Remember our deal? Three hours and you run twice!

"Give me my 4,000. " She demands. I try to calm her down.

"Give me money or I call Police. " She threatens.

I am a bit drunk to really take her threat seriously. She dials 911 and shows me the screen. Her demeaner shows she has done it before. There is a woman who answers the call. A child is crying in the back. This seems to be a strange emergency dispatch center.

Suddenly, I realize her trick. She has saved "911" as a contact name for her friend. And she dials her to show me she is calling 911. Nice rick.

I call her bluff and tell her, now watch me call 911. I pick up my phone to call. She runs into kitchen and picks up a serrated knife. "Give me my money!

This is an escalation to a different level. Shit. I think of lifting the folding chair and using it to overpower her. But my good sense prevails. Few thousand pesos are not worth this trouble. I agree to give her money. She keeps the knife pointed at me and asks me to unlock the door.

This girl seems to be a different beast than the one who arrived just an hour back. I open the front door. Walk her down. There is another lock, that needs key. I tell herI will get the key. She stays down, with knife. I come back to apartment and lock my front door. Time to think. Now I can call the Police. She is between the two locked doors with 4,000 pesos and knife in her hand. But she may have a trace of me still between her legs. What to do? Teach her a lesson?

I am unwilling to create a scene. Even for 4,000 she was a good fuck. Let it go. I go down, open the door. She walks out with my knife.

The driver who had brought her is still waiting down. I get it now. All that rage was a drama. She is pretty good actress.

I ask back the knife. She walks away laughing. The driver is smiling, as if he has seen this unfold before.

I go back to my room. What a way to be introduced to Dominican Republic.

I finish my remaining beer and go back to sleep. Actually, quite happy. And surprised. This little girl has outwitted me in every way. I am no match for her. Lesson learned. Was all this trouble worth it? You be the judge. Take a look at her. Don't forget, this is DR not Colombia. Beauty here has a different definition.

    Except Cartagena

Cartagena is quite safe IMHO, but the hustlers are in the league of their own. Much worse than anything I've experienced in the DR or anywhere in the world for that matter.

Brazil can be a gangerous place.

I was in Salvador the Bahia once. Credit card was hacked after being used once to draw cash after arrival at the airport, was robbed and stolen anything except my life and clothes in Pelourinho. Since then, I completely avoid Brazil. But in the end, it can happen anywhere, right?
Pelourinho, in particular, has the most crowded and safe streets in Salvador, but there are also deserted and crumbling streets and alleys with no people in sight even during the daylight. We were walking around in Pelourinho, until we saw a guy who made a no-no finger gesture at us, which was clearly understood, as we were feeling uneasy ourselves. But "completely avoiding Brazil"? That's an overreaction, IMHO. I've been to Rio more than a dozen times with no horror stories to share. Does it mean Rio is safe? No. It means you got to be careful and ready to lose a few bucks (do NOT carry more money on you that you're willing to lose).

My brother worked in the US embassy in Rio

He said everyone in the embassy had been robbed atleast once and were encouraged to carry dummy wallets for the bandits.

And evidently it is more likely to happen to some people than others.

How? It is not Brazil. I used to stay at my ex-girlfriend's place in City of God. She had my graduation party for me in Rocinha when I got my masters. Not a d thing has ever happened to me in Brazil. And you got robbed in Pelourinho? You must have been off the beaten path. Maybe that is why they have the sign up that says good luck. You got some bad luck brother.

Their being of Haitian decent seems to have been an influencing factor.
