What medical science has now established, nearly all of the COVID transmission happens during early stages when the transmitters have no symptoms. Many COVID carriers never develop fever or flu-like symptoms. Not to mention, these temp scanners are unreliable, and don't work right in my observations. I had a stomach poisoning and high temps during one of the my visits, which none of the temp scanners at nearby Osco's ever detected.
And those wet rubber floor mats at the front of many businesses, no idea WTF those are all about. I am sure wiping your feet on a rubber mat prevented exactly zero cases of COVID.
This is typical Mexico for you, create an appearance of "following rules" to appease the bosses. Whether those rule accomplish anything useful or serve any purpose is irrelevant.

Posts: 2422BTW, almost every worker I know in Tijuana got their vaccines, from my dentist office to the people that worked in the malls to the chicas in the Zona Norte. I think we the USA donated a lot of vaccines to border cities of Mexico such as Tijuana, and the folks of Tijuana took advantage of the offer.

I suspect that might be true.
But I also suspect that Pfizer's CEO is trying to drum up interest and business sales for Pfizer's third (booster) shot.
He already has made a big sale. This week the president of Israel and his wife got Pfizer's third (booster) for themselves.

Are you vaccinated? If not then it's only a matter of time till you catch covid. This "delta variant" is some potent shit. You can run but you can't hide. It'll catch you sooner or later. All last week when I was miserable burning up with fever I was cursing myself regretting that I didn't get vaccinated when I had the chance. Now they even got that 3rd shot that boosts your immune defenses even stronger.
I'll add that I've been working a lot of hours, been under a lot of stress, and haven't been eating properly every day. So my body has been in a weakened vulnerable state. But even if you're fit living a healthy lifestyle that won't stop you from contracting covid. Being fit might cause your symptoms to be minimal, compared to someone who isn't in great health, but it doesn't mean you can't catch it then pass it on to other people.

Posts: 657Good news: Mild covid-19 induces lasting antibody protection
Quote Months after recovering from mild cases of covid-19, people still have immune cells in their body pumping out antibodies against the virus that causes COVID-19, according to a study from researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Such cells could persist for a lifetime, churning out antibodies all the while.
The findings, published May 24 in the journal Nature, suggest that mild cases of COVID-19 leave those infected with lasting antibody protection and that repeated bouts of illness are likely to be uncommon.

Posts: 1483Well, if you ask scientists, many thought humans shouldn't be doing gain of function studies as disease escaping labs is not a new or rare thing. Other scientists, either morollay or financially corrupt, like dr Fauci, believed gain of function, despite the risk of the disease escaping lab killing hundreds millions people, they insisted, and still insist, it was worth it. So. They take a bat covid, change it to spread to people, then it escapes lab, and they try and say the disease started 3 blocks from the lab, not in the coronavirus lab. Which is equivalent of meteor landing on nuclear bomb making factory, and the government saying, yeah that was a motor that blew up Nevada, it wasn't a nuclear bomb mishap. Rip to dr Fauci victims.

Posts: 553I'm just now getting over covid for the second time. First was last March. This one knocked me straight down to the ground. I was sick as a dog all last week and just now starting to feel normal again. I never did get vaccinated thinking I was immune from the first time. And now I'm wondering if I should get vaxxed or if I've got antibodies since I've already contracted and recovered from it. Any advice would be welcome.

If Darwin is correct then in a year or so, old, ugly, nasty putas will be weeded out by natural selection, leaving only hot, young, pretty, healthy girls to us.
Will check the proof in a few months.
The bad news is that you may kill off someone in your circle who refused vaccination, and now it is too fucking late for that person to get a vaccine.
