I am Italian too and in the pre-Covid era, never ned a trick to receive a visa. The only trick was a fake hotel reservation, easy to get from bookings or tripadvisor. For the rest the embassy was very friendly, unlikely the Nigerian one.

Precisely for this! But now in the covid era there is no way to go there. Or at least I don't find it.

Reading the reports on this forum about any countries in Asia, Africa, America, ... it seems to read the theory of parallel realities. Who pays 10, who pays 100, who pays 1000!

I was 9 times in Ghana and never made a girl happy with 100 Dollars or Euro, never paid a hotel 50 $ but 15 Euro or something like this. The most expansive girls I met in Accra were some Nigerians, and just to avoid discussion I gave them sometimes up to 150 Ghs.

As every place in the world, also Ghana is made of environments, situations, cases. Enter the appropriated one that fits for you, forget the rest. Your income is like mine but when in Ghana I never give up anything. I avoid the made for white people places and enjoy where blacks are going.

I had been fantasizing about Ghana for some time but after reading the whole forum I realized that it is not for me. Hotel minimum 50 dollars a night, women 100 dollars a shot mhmmm. For me who live on 1000 euros a month is difficult and very expensive. It is true that I hate clubs and discos and I prefer to spend the day on the beach, and that I prefer to pick up girls on the street or in the markets (in short, I don't like professional working girls), but it is really complicated for me that I would have liked to spend there a couple of months. Sin!

Recent Africa points of interest; I considered Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana and Gambia; all but S Leone (Freetown) require physically shipping passport to the consulate which I was not interested in.

Have you considered a visa expediting service, such as this one?

I have used Travel Document Systems (TDS) for a few visas over the years. They have a handful of offices around the United States (I'm not sure if you're in the USA, though) and I have always found their service to be quick and professional. They do, of course, tack on a fee for their service, but it allows you to sit back and relax, knowing that an agent is dealing with the consulates and embassies instead of you. But, you still have to do the pre-trip paperwork and FedEx all of it to TDS.

I had also considered DKR, Senegal too as they have no visa requirement but tickets were equally expensive with MBA and I am not a francophone...

Senegal is also on my radar because of the "no visa" requirement. I speak maybe a handful of words of French but I won't be deterred, as many guys have commented online (not just here on ISG) that the women are beautiful, slender black pearls. Do a search for social media influencer Nyla Lueeth and that's the figure and beautiful skin tone that's apparently common in Senegal. Just for convenience, here's her Instagram:

I did get an e-visa for Kenya (as I did with TZ), thinking MBA but bus class flights were about 50% more expensive compared to flights into Dar, TZ for me; I ended up in Dar, again. Perhaps MBA later this year with no regrets as Dar is target rich.

I received a return call from the Sierra Leone consulate that the caller assured me a visa would be issued on arrival; would definitely want to confirm that with the airline but Freetown would be a close pick behind MBA. Just writing to let everyone here in the forum know that I've been in recent contact with an employee of the Embassy of Ghana. I saw an article online that stated an eVisa (electronic visa) was scheduled to be available for Ghana around the middle of this year. However, the embassy employee stated that they haven't received any update from the government of Ghana regarding the eVisa.

So for now, it looks like we are all going to have to apply for a visa to Ghana the old-fashioned way. The eVisa is the way of the future. I purchased an eVisa for Uzbekistan in late 2019 and the process was quick and cheap. I did the old-fashioned visa for my trip to Russia a few years back and it was tedious and somewhat expensive. The minute Ghana gets an eVisa, their tourism is really going to explode.

The 100 a shot is for guys going for top tier women in convenient locations and choose not to negotiate. If you want cheaper, but high quality, you'll need to do some leg work on dating / social media sites.

You'll always pay a tax when picking out of a spot known to be frequented by foreigners / expats. If you choose to go that route, make sure you take ladies closer to the end of the night, they'll drop their prices.

There's a similar site like that for Nigeria. I've used it and it works. Only thing I'd advise is to get the number of a provider and add it to your what's app to vet the pics. I did an outcall with a girl once and when she got to my door I saw the pics were fake.

Have you looked through non pro sites like AI, badoo etc for a possible GFE LTR type girl? You might find a bombshell, for a song. Nurse it along into some whatsapp wonder or skype sex etc to confirm she will be willing to put out. The hotel rates inside Accra can be cost prohibitive but then again, if you are feeling adventurous you can research outlying areas along the coast for much cheaper, longer term stays.

Some years ago I did the same and found myself a girl that would eventually hit my ten titer. She asked for nothing in the few months leading up to our physical meeting; I sent her $100 usd prior to my travel to get me a cheap cell w / sim and some antimalarials. She met me on my arrival in Accra with all I had asked for plus $14.86 in cedi for change. She is still with me today. I've never found a better bang for the buck, as I did that day. Pun intended.

Boring? In comparison to pre-Covid I suppose your right. And I've only been here a few months so my angle of excitement is a bit different. Sandbox I've heard of and have yet to check it out. Front / back is a new one for me so I'll have to check it out as well.

Smoke & Barrel has been my go to place although it is pricey. Live entertainment weekends with a mixed crowd.

I will be honest with you brother. Accra has been quite boring.

Hoping there are more parties and events. Seems the most active places are front back and sandbox for me.
