Went last week to Vivo and Tim stores to get a Brazil phone number but neither would give me SIM card without a CPF, and Tim wouldn't even reactivate my previous phone number without a CPF. I remembered a post by Vagabundo about getting one from a kiosk but could not find the post in a search. Met with Vagabundo on Wednesday to go to Casa Bombeiro and asked him where he said to get the card. He said it was at Central metro station, so we walked there because it was fairly close. There is a Tim stand in front of the entrance with a sign saying a SIM card is 10 real. Told the girl there that I did not have a CPF. She called another girl over and told her I had no CPF. The other girl took out a stack of SIM cards and gave me one to put in my phone. She then activated it and it worked fine. For 10 real you get the chip, 20 days of unlimited calls, and 9 gb of data, and it is rechargeable. Hell of a deal. Thanks, Vagabundo.

The 'market' in Rio is defined by natives of Brazil. Guys who make 1300 reais a month, who rent for 400, and who have the odd 50 twice a week, maybe, to spend on sex, so they go to centro prives or VM.

economist.com recently noted that a PhD medical researcher is making like 4000 a month, and she's moving to France because Brazil sucks.

In that market, 4 x 4 is as good as it gets. It is the top. Maybe there are some at solarium who are better, but Vagabundo having been to both, is here to tell you, Solarium just spends more on pharmaceuticals. The quality of the chicks is the same. MC? Please. That's warmed over 27 year olds who are rejects from 4 x4.

The "market" is the centro terma. Most upwardly mobile, or white collar Brazilians are office workers in centro. They make between 1300 and 4000 a month. They go bang a hot prive girl with between 80 and 120. Maybe they go to VM on their way home, or to work. Many work 12-6 or some odd hour shift.

The number of ISG members in town at any given time is at most 7 multiplied by 3 (assuming that two times as many are just lurkers, or just guys who show up at 4 x 4 by their word of mouth). That is a negligible number. 20-30 dicks in a megacity of 12 million, of which say 3 million are fucking age males. The market is that great mass of Brazilian men looking to get the poison out.

And who are we? Even accounting for "high class problems" of whether you like blondes in tier 1 termas or negras in VM, we, the ISG members are the happy few, the guys who can get laid, when we want, any time we want. Judging by the pathetic rich world men who are my 'friends' on social networks and who whine like little girls in message boards, but who are married to some post menopausal dry pussy church chick who they support because she cooks 3 times a day, and who doesn't fuck like the girl in the next room at the motel in Reno, they are the sad, the guys who jerk off maybe, instead of getting some.

Well, its Thursday, and Vagabundo is still a little tired after the good marathon fuck on Tuesday, tired in a good way. Ana Foxxx says she wants to do a pernoite. So I may do that. Nia Nacci is texting vagabundo again to come over to barra so Vagabundo can defile her.

As Xpartan noted, Arpoador the very small point joining Copacabana and Ipanema is a very good choice. Familiarize yourself with a map of Copacabana and Ipanema. You will see the East side of Ipanema is basically joined to the Southwest side of Copacabana. So don't overthink it. It's all right there. Walking back and forth during the day is no big deal. Going to one beach or the other is no big deal.

Some guys like staying down at the opposite end (Northeast) of Copacabana due to its proximity to Mabs and Dolce Vita. Since I do not recommend walking around at night and choose to take Ubers instead, there really isn't a reason for me to stay at that end of Copacabana.

Thank you for that advice I will definitely check that area out. Sorry for those that got annoyed by asking the same question twice a few weeks apart but I'm just tying to get as much knowledge as I can to make my first Brazil trip nice. Its my first trip since Pattaya In Feb. Of 2020 and exited to escape work life for a couple weeks. I was definitely a little timid about my first trip to East Asia but the great advice really prepared me and I ended up having a fantastic time. I would've loved to go back but Covid makes that impossible now but I'm excited to try a new area of the world.

I did think about buying a shorty websuit shirt at decathlon when I went there with stargazer the other day. The water temperatures are such that it would make it more comfortable. I will probably try double rash guards for a next step though. I try to keep my cloths to a minimum so, theoretically, I could take off on an hours notice.

Great tips on what to bring, I will bring rash guards and other stuff with me, I would have forgotten those without reading your posts. I see some kitesurfing pictures near posto 1 in Barra da Tijuca. It makes me wonder if I should bring wetsuit

Went to 156 Rio Branco about 4 PM. 6 of 8 girls at Dudas (3320) were busy, which surprised me as I thought that would be a slow time, so left. Also went to check out Lolas (3225) but it closed up shop. Went to Bel Prazer at 185 instead.

I'm 12 weeks away from my first Rio trip. I'm going to use Airbnb. I like my options for places to stay in Ipanema better then Coco cabana but as a first timer I keep reading that it's better to stay in that area. Is that true?
