I don't know any surfers who ever talk about Coronado or imperial beach. Both are often contaminated with Tijuana river run off, although summer is the driest part of the year so if you want those beaches then summer is your best bet. The water may be polluted and Mexico won't tell USA of sewage leaks for a week or two. Most people do ocean beach San Diego, Pacific beach, or blacks beach.

Last summer I had no passport and walked into Mexico 5 times. I walked through otay since it's only 1 line, Mexicans and non Mexicans. 1st time, nobody talked to me, 2nd, they wanted 20 bucks, made him walk me back to USA side as I wouldn't pay, 3rd time, 4th, 5th I paid the 20 each time in san Ysidro. So yeah if your going only once, for 6 months, better to say you left your passport home. Save 10 bucks. That's if your just doing Tijuana and not seeing other places in Mexico.

Yes. The bastards are still doing the shakedown. This whole Covid 'non essential' travel block is a huge income bonanza for them.
Laughing as I type this but the last time I visited back in May, I actually created a fake dental appointment confirmation e-mail to show the customs officials in case they required "proof" that I was going to see a dentist. Sent the confirmation from a spoof gmail account I'd just created the day before. Many of the dental offices in Tijuana operate gmail / yahoo accounts anyway. But they never asked for it and I was let through free with my valid passport.

Quick little trip report from Tijuana.

First I flew into San Diego and arrived at about 10 am. Check in is usually 3 pm in Tijuana, so I decided to check out Coronado beach from the airport after talking to a local surfer. It was like being transported to another world. It's an island with all wealthy white people and from appearances no crime to speak of. I only saw one black guy on the whole island. I thought he was lost. LOL. Very weird. It was like the town from the first Jaws movie but much nicer. I ate some good seafood checked out the waves since I'm looking for a place for a fat old guy to surf. The waves were 2 or 3 feet which were perfect. I will be heading down there for a non Tijuana trip just to surf.

Anyway off to Tijuana after 4 hours in Coronado. Took uber to border 25 bucks and went through immigration without being asked to pay 30.00. First thing everyone should know. The exchange rate is way better in San Diego side than Tijuana. San Ysidro side was 19.45 to 1 and Tijuana was 19.20 at best but mostly 19.15 to one. Extra 25 pesos per hundred bucks. Checked into hotel bought some vitamin v at the pharmacy. Texted my regular and popped a v busted a nut and was done for the day. It literally drained all my energy out of my whole old ass body. I am committed to dropping 30 to 40 pounds or my mongering career is pretty much over as I used to know it. The Viagra didn't help me after the first nut. My 5 inch friend was down for the count and couldn't do a round 2.

Checked out the usual hk Adelitas. Had some sushi. Ate at a new seafood restaurant on the street up by Caesar's hotel. I highly recommend the natural fruit bar 2 blocks from Caesar hotel going towards las plugas and take a right. Go about 2 blocks. You can get freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh watermelon juice large size for 4 bucks. Can't be beat. I hate HK, so I didn't session. I called another regular the next day and busted a nut. Done again. The 3rd day I took it easy and went to dejavu for a more chill environment which I enjoyed. Grabbed ass with a girl for about a hour and bought her 4 drinks. Not bad. Included lap dances. I highly recommend dejavu on a Friday Saturday night if you want a more relaxed atmosphere. Took a uber to amnesias and left pretty quick. The girls were just fugly. One Red Bull and gone. Stick with dejavu. Anyway before my flight I called my regular had sex and off I went. 3 girls in 3 days. That's the best I can do at my age.

They must have crossed back to US OK since I have not heard a lot of crying and moaning.
Yeah, the key words there are "a group of 20 guys" and "Friday night" LOL. The Mexican customs officials know what's up there and know that that's easy money. That's why even the guys with passports got charged. If the dudes with passports went separately and / or had better cover stories it's likely they wouldn't have gotten charged IMO. I've never been charged crossing the border when I had a valid passport, only the couple of times last year I tried to cross without one.

Just found out my fuckin passport is expired and with covid delays, it'll take like 10-12 weeks to renew without me having to shell out an additional $500 to expedite.

Chances of it working with just a drivers license or something? Does Cascada enforce passport to check in?

    Appreciate any help here.
I did twice last year (last summer when everything was supposedly shut down due to COVID) without issue so I wouldn't worry about it. My passport had expired a few weeks prior and I wasn't going to have time to get it renewed due to the significant COVID delays. So I just took the expired passport with me. You'll have to fully expect for them to pull you into an office to pay a fee (bribe). The first time I went the fee was $30, the second time it was $20. No. Drivers license won't work. If you don't have a passport it's almost a certainty you'll have to pay a bribe. Cascadas has never asked me for a passport in all my years going there. Drivers license is perfectly fine there. Both times I went last year, coming back to the USA Was super easy. I just gave the customs official my expired passport, they checked and scanned it, then let me through without saying anything about the passport being expired. Especially if the passport is just recently expired you should be good. They might've said something if the passport had expired years ago I don't know. Might depend on the customs official. But if you're a USA Citizen they can't deny you entry back into the USA LOL.

If you go down to Tijuana only occasionally (I only go a couple times a year) I would just take the expired passport with you next time you go then work on getting it renewed as soon as you get back to the USA So you have it back in time for your next trip.

Cascadas hotel at the reception I showed my driver license and it was ok.

The Mexican immigration are the ones that will probably deny you entry. Just go to the UCSD passport processing center & take your receipt of application with you. They will probably make you buy a FMM / Visa for $30. It is fairly fast applying for a passport at UCSD processing center. When you cross back to the US just tell them you recently applied for a passport and show them your drivers license. 99% of the time the will not ask you for your receipt of application.

I suspect that your biggest problem will be crossing northbound. They can't keep you out, but they can delay you quite a bit.

The one time I forgot my passport, I showed them a photocopy of it, and they let me through without any real delay, but that was a judgement call by the officer.

I once got a 24-hour turn-around, without paying a so-called "expediter". It did cost extra, but nowhere near $500.

I got a letter from my boss, saying that they needed me to cross pretty much every day. It would also have worked if I showed them an airline ticket for a flight the next day. This was explained on the USA State Department's website.

Good luck. (And please report back.).

I've done way more risky (stupid risky) stuff on monger trips than 99% of guys on this board. Hanging out in clubs in super sketchy zonas in Medellin, Cali, and Cucuta Colombia, and this was when I was a heavy drinker (I was drinking Colombian aguardiente like it was freaking water). One time I got drugged at a bar in Medellin and woke up laying on the sidewalk without my watch, phone, cash wondering what the hell happened. Hanging out in super sketchy clubs in Monterrey Mexico, drinking heavily and banging 3 or 4 putas a night. I remember the time I woke up in the morning butt naked on the roof of a hostel in Monterrey with a pounding headache (I had drunk sloppy sex with a German foreign exchange student the night before). Buying pot on the street and smoking pot on the street, bribing cops, obviously very risky behavior. I took a bus from the Colombian border clear across the country of Venezuela to Caracas, then staying in Caracas for 4 months. I was right in the middle of the government of Venezuela on the brink of collapsing and being overthrown, all the while I was partying my balls off banging hot Venezuelan chicas 2 and 3 at a time. More than once I thought I was going to be taken into custody by "revolutionary national guard" soldiers. Heck even in the US I regularly hung out in "ratchet" clubs that most guys here wouldn't dare step foot into (and for good reason) on my quest for big booty freak hoes. I currently reside in Tijuana which is the "murder capital of the world". I live in a middle class neighborhood not in a gated community. I watch my back everywhere I go and practice caution with every step I take. I'm careful who I talk to and how much I let people know about me and my movements..
Haha we have to hang out. I haven't done quite as much crazy shit, but I think we would get along great.

I didn't do Seeking like I planned. Sorry, I just don't have the energy levels anymore. I decided to just stick with the girls on my WhatsApp. My focus now is to get back to 200 pounds. I enjoyed myself at dejavu so it wasn't a complete loss.

  12. #20243
When I say a regular I just mean Girls that are still in my WhatsApp for last 1 to 4 years. I have been to Tijuana 2 x during pandemic and Cancun once. I'm probably using the term a little loosely compared to people that live in San Diego and go constantly.

Based on personal experience of this old monger, losing 25 pounds and daily walking exercise helped my ability to have more sex. For me to lose that weight required a major change in lifestyle.
