Beavis had to be out of his house Saturday night August 7 as the potential buyers wanted to make a final inspection of the property. Actually he didn’t have to be out but elected to rather than have to answer any questions or reasons as to why he was selling out. Perhaps “to move to Colombia” would have been too blunt of an answer to the people (probably George Bush supporters as they are paying cash). When Beavis would then go on his tirade of how much the United States has gone to hell in the last few years and how damn expensive everything was perhaps he would have been misinterpreted by these people so he decided to get out of dodge. An evening in Corpus would have been boring so after a phone call to Koshercowboy both were enroute to the Mexico/USA border.

Beavis arrived around 4:30, walked around the mall in Laredo, crossed the border with his overnight bag, checked into the ½ star Hotel Don Antonio for 200 MP and then walked around centro Nuevo Laredo. A couple of beers at Bar Salamanca, a cigar and a Margarita at the Mercado then to the fine hotel for a shower and fresh clothes. Temperature about 175 fucking degrees with a heat index of about 220. Beavis was sweating his ass off.

At 8:10 Beavis and Kosher are together at Restaurant Tipico consuming medium quantities of good Mexican food. Beavis and Kosher (or as they have been called by other members here, Beaver and Cupcake) arrived around 9:00 in Seis Banderas (Boy’s Town). A quick pass into Papagayos, dead city, a few girls who could play linebacker, and a couple more sumo wrestlers. A walk around the compound and by now it is looking as if staying in Corpus would have been better. Finally around 10:15 Kosher returns to Papagayos and Beavis goes to Tamykos. Not much happening here either but when he saw Raquel here we go. Raquel is getting up there in age but has the body of a 20 year old (and much better than most 20 year olds we have seen this evening). She always is a great GFE for Beavis and is a lot of fun. Beavis and Kosher eventually go to Tamykos together. I recommend Kosher try Raquel which he does and says he had a good time. Beavis took Stacy who is still the hottest girl there. Overall both had a good time and we didn’t spend a ton of money. The quality of the girls here seems to continuously go downhill. The hustlers in the street are now just as bad as Reynosa and the prices keep going up. Beavis and Kosher can always have fun here because of their experience in BT but again Nuevo Laredo Boy’s Town is a poor mans getaway for those of us who live close by. It makes for a fun Saturday night but more than one night of this place is too much.

Average looks of the girls now is probably about a 4. 3 - 8’s in Papagayos, Carla, Asinette, and Anna and that is it. They are probably the 3 best looking girls there anymore. Perhaps Danash has some fine girls but they can keep them at their prices. Boy’s Town quality has literally gone to shit. If you live close by by all means check it out. If you have to get on an airplane to get there you will be very disappointed.

Good Day Fellow Mongers. I just recently returned from a trip out west. Nuevo Laredo is still my favorite Boystown and I still think Nuevo Laredo Boystown is far and above the best Boystown in Mexico.

While out west I found a really cool little Boystown. I was visiting Douglas, Arizona and decided to take a trip across the border to Agua Prieta. I stayed at the Motel 6 in Douglas it was only about a mile from the border and there was a cool little walking/jogging trail that went right to the border.

The Boystown in Agua Prieta was a few miles in the town off Avenida 6. The Boystown wasn't real big but it was pretty cool. There were about 5 or 6 bars. The thing I liked most is that there were some real hot room girls who worked out of their own rooms not the bars. If you ever go to Agua Prieta Boystown look for a big metal door frame with no door. There are usaully 4 or 5 girls around that area and they have their own little rooms. These girls charge anywhere from 10 to 20 dollars for FS. The women will ask for about 40 upfront but if you start to walk off they will cut the price in half to atleast 20 bucks.

I liked the Agua Prieta Boystown. It was real laid back and there were some real hot women. I know this is the Nuevo Laredo Board here but I just wanted to let my fellow mongers know that if you are ever in the Southern Arizona area you should check out Agua Prieta Boystown its pretty cool.

I've found Tamyko prices to be generally lower than PGs; however, I find the PG girls to be generally more attractive and have had more GFE at PGs. I cannot comment on Danash, as the prices reported do not interest me no matter how good the girls look.

Speaking of prices, my fellow calientes, I have a technique that works for me in negotiating my price for going to the room. I avoid sitting down to avoid buying drinks. This way, I am more convincing when I say X-amount and say that is all I've got. In spanish, "Es todo lo que tengo". If your buying rounds for everyone, the girl has got to figure you've got money but you just don't want to pay more (ie. an insult). They are more willing to accept less when you give the appearance of giving her your last dollar (ie. a compliment). Of course, I separate out the X-amount (plus some dollars for the towels, etc.) from my billfold, so she can never see that I've got much more. Feel free to borrow the technique. I've been to NLBT many times, and really like it. I too have been to Monterrey a few times and LOVED it. I think the biggest difference is that I really, really enjoy the massage parlor scene.

I was using the seach function here and saw that Borderjumper had mentioned something about the MP scene down in NL. I have been search (on the net and in person) to find where some walk-in type massage parlors are down here.

I'll keep looking if I must, checking the downtown area, but not too sure of where else to look.

It's funny--I think over the longer haul you'll stop noticing any assault on your sensibilities and you'll end up being surprised at your acuteness here. I like Pgo's because the drinks, including the chica drinks, are cheap; and after filtering out the gorditas etc you'll find a lot of them are pretty nice, normal, attractive girls.

I probably shouldn't have said most insurance companies, but the last two that I used covered me in border towns. I used to drive into NL on my trips, but have not done that in over a year. I have just parked on the US side and walked over.

That being said, I always called me insurance company prior to my trips to confirm the coverage, I would suggest that anyone else do the same.

My first -and not last- field report for a dark trip into Boystown.

Many thanks to the senior members of this post for all the well-used advice. I could not have comfortably ventured solo across the River without it.

Armed with a stack of 5 dollar bills, and carrying my driver's license and a spare $10 and a "Return to America if Found Dead" card in my shoe, I ventured across the Puente Internacional #1 on foot and solo. I found the taxi stand quickly and flagged a fun driver, who invited his newly married brother-in-law to PG with us. The relative laughed -embarrassed- and the driver took off.

The drive to Boystown was uneventful, with the possible exception of our 4-wheeling through "dark water". Alas, me without my organic-filtered respirator. I flashbacked to walking above open sewers in Chiang Mai.

Most U.S. insurance covers you a few miles in Mexico. I am not sure of the exact distance, but yours should cover the distance to BT.

Unless your insurance rider SPECIFICALLY states that there is border inclusion in the policy, it DOES NOT cover you in Mexico.This subject has been extensively debated on the Juarez forum. Curiously enough, I just obtained Mexico Frontera coverage on my U.S. policy (Viking of Austin) for an outrageous <sic> sum of $12.00 per year. something you Texas boys might check into. Otherweise buy a daily poiicy from Sanborns or one of the Casa de Cambios right after you cross Bridge #2

doing well Mic and good to see you back. been in the far northern sector of Ontario all week still trying to get home. I'm on my mom's computer here in Arkansas right now. Sold the Mercedes. Tranny gave me trouble and didn't feel like sinking $3500 into it. Bought a Jeep! Better for Mexico.

Also, if you do drive across he border, there are three different border crossing bridges: International Bridge I, II and III.

Bridge #III is for commercial traffic only. No POV's! One other option is the Colombia bridge but a bit difficult to get to as you have to backtrack 19 miles on FM1472, cross and then come back in 20 miles or so on Mexico 2.

Friday night, I got into NL around 10pm, checked into Cesar Palace and went straight for Papagayos.
