The Adelitas chicas are kind of older too. They're kind of thick all around. My problem with Adelitas is that they only have one stage for dancing. So you only have one entertainer at a time and you are stuck with her for the rest of her songs even if you dislike her performance. I wish they would put up a couple of mini-stage and ask the girls to get off of their asses and go-go dance. That way, a customer like myself can go to the dancer that attracts us the most. I think this is why I prefer Chicago when I'm out of HK. At Chicago, there are usually 3 active stages. I can pick the one that I am attracted to the most.

That's interesting. I prefer Adelita Bar because they only have one stage. Most of the girls are out interacting with guys rather than dancing. You don't have to wait for her to be done dancing in order for her to be free to drink with you. Also, a girl up on stage is getting sweaty and often leaves after her dance to go freshen up and change outfits so she is out of commission for even longer. Some girls just dance and don't go with customers, so they are a tease. Stages take up space that could be used for more tables (looking at you Chicago Club). If I wanted to watch dancers I'd go to a real strip club, not a *****house with a bar.

I now live in Medellin Colombia for the past 4 years having found my piece of paradise but was in Tijuana at least monthly for long weekends between 1998 and 2014, give or take, and I vividly recall that I would go back and forth between AB and Chicago Club as these were the places to be.

It was standing room only and packed with gorgeous chicas. I usually had a room at the Leyva Hotel and also recall the dingy little club called the Hong Kong Club that had maybe 4 or 5 so-so chicas, gawd how I witnessed its growth over the course of about 15 years.

In the early 2000's we paid $30. And when the cost started to be $40. For 30 to 45 minutes with a cutie we thought it was crazy and exorbitant, oh had we only known. Truth be told I can get a street walker chica here in centro Medellin, cute, good attitude if you choose properly, late teens to mid twenties and I pay 40,000 to 60,000 Colombian pesos for about 45 minutes, this is the equivalent of under about $20. USD.

Oh the memories but not to worry as I now have formed new long lasting memories here in my home city of Medellin.

Hey Tall Man! When I first started going AB girls were 40 dls and the hotel upstairs was like 7 or 8 dls. Must of been around the same time your talking about. I remember CC being a happening place back then but only at night. I don't remember it even being open during the day. AB was happening morning, noon and night. Nobody used to hang in HK or Bar Miami on the alley side. Moe.

So true! AB was the best club in the zona back in the early 2000's. HK was a rinky dink club in the alley. Any chica who used to work at AB and now works someplace else will tell you what a piece of crap this place is and how horrible they treat the girls. The glory days for AB are long gone and now they just spend all their time trying to compete with HK. IMO this place is a joke. Moe.

Both hotels can bring in SGs but can't cross bring an HK girl to Adelita Hotel and vice versa.

Yeah, girls pretty much have to go to the hotel associated with their bar. HK girls can go to Rizo de Oro and Tropical girls can go to Cascadas, because they are the same owners.

Sometimes you can get a girl to come to your hotel on their shift, but they have to sneak away. I've had girls tell their managers they were sick, or that they were going out to dinner, just to come to my hotel.

From what I can tell, it's due to the hotel still being run on an outdated all-cash, no computer system. I believe the reservations are done by hand on paper as you come in. Also all the rooms for Adelitas still use actual keys (as opposed to plastic keycards) that Adelitas requests a $5 deposit for. I believe the rates for Adelitas are something like $20 on the weekdays and $45 on the weekends (could easily be wrong about the prices but it's something close to that. Haven't stayed there in a bit).

My understanding is that Hotel Coahuila raised their Mon-Wed rate up to $45. If that's true, it's a shame. I used to get a room there just for the convenience of having a place to store my stuff and charge my phone, even when I stayed in a hotel outside the zona. I'll know for sure when I return in a few weeks, if no one can confirm before then.

I echo BrotherMouzone's experience and pricing for Adelita Hotel (called Coahuila).

When I first started staying there in 2015 I tried one time to bring an HK girl with me to Hotel Coahuila. She came out the door of HK with me willingly just looking at me a little strange but was quickly brought back into HK by doorman. Lesson learnt. Both hotels can bring in SGs but can't cross bring an HK girl to Adelita Hotel and vice versa.

They usually have availability on a walk in basis IF you get there early enough. For example, if you were to get there 3-5 pm (earlier the better in that time range) you're pretty much guaranteed a room for the night. On the weekends it's unlikely they'll have rooms if you try to walk up at night. During the week (Sun-Wed, maybe Thurs) I don't think they have an issue with running out of rooms. I have on more than one occasion walked up to Adelitas on a weekend night asking for a room trying to save a few bucks but was told they had no rooms available (was no problem. I just ended up staying at HK).

Adelitas is fine and reliable for a one-night stay but I had a major issue with a screw-up but them on a two-night stay 3 years or so ago, which is one of the reasons I'll no longer stay there for more than one night.

Last time I was in Adelita Bar the girl I was sitting with asked if she could have wine. I asked how much it was and she said 140. I asked "Pesos?" and she said "No. Dollars". I laughed and told her no and she seemed fine with a regular $10 drink.

Always ask if they order anything but a beer.

Interesting my experiences have been quite the opposite. I've never experienced any fuck-fuck games at Adilita. In fact, it was always some bullshit at HK. At HK, the meseros are beyond annoying and last time I was there, a mesero and security came up to me saying I was taking photos (lie). I showed them my phone and then I never saw them again. I'll be there the 3rd thru the 5th and prob won't spend much time in HK.

The video of the incident was on the internet. It didn't happen in a room that you would be staying in. It happened in the hallway. Probably a 1000 times a day, people in cities are standing or sitting in a spot within 10 feet where someone died at some point in last 300 years.

A chica was stabbed in the neck from behind on the steps inside leading to the speakeasy. Murderer was an American 26 year old military guy.

Does anyone know what exactly the room # was? Not like I have known what has happened in other rooms and other hotels in my life but here I just wish to avoid in 2 weeks since I know about this.
