Hk. VIP card
$60 good for 3 months.
Entitles holder to 70% off on Cascada's rooms on Monday and Tuesday, 20% off other days.
You can take chicas straight to your own room, not having to rent ST room each time for $22 -30.

Hk. Vip card
Hey all. Just wanted to double check 1 point regarding HK's VIP card / membership.
Their site advertises "20% Off in Hotel" - does this include the price of the room as well? Assuming I'm booking overnight stays and not short term plays?

Bummer. I confirmed the prices went up at websites of both Cascadas and Rizo.
Rizo seems to have gotten the old prices of Cascadas.
I find Cascadas's room price has gone up too much in past three years.
I hope they get a drop in room occupancy that forces that puts an end to their price increases.

The current rates ($65/$80) are actually the same rates I paid the last time I stayed in Tijuana this past May (before applying the VIP discounts of course). Rates went up $5 or $10/ night but another reason for the difference from last year is where the HK VIP discount during the week was reduced from 80% off to 70% off. So for example last year an HK room during the week might've been $60 full price but with 80% off it was only the $12 price you stated. $65 with a 70% discount is going to be nearly $20 (as you also stated). Still a good deal I guess.

Wow they did change the price again today Sept 1st. Honestly I don't even like the bar hotels. Sheets never look clean, no windows, high level security pat downs, being stuck in zona. It's like a hotel on top of your fav strip club in united states. You'd rather sleep 2 blocks away. The whole scene is more expensive than it used to be. I'm sure a lot people quit going if they were low income. I bought a girl a drink last night that was so terrible on every way. I had talked to her for free the past month so figured it was time. The lap dances also seem to go up a dollar each time. If my girlfriend worked in HK I'd tell her to charge 160. Why not? Some guys like to pay more.

Cascadas Room Rates Trending Up
Wow!
Not that I can't afford it but when I use to pay $60 on a Fri. Or Sat. night and now $80 ($65/ nt. during the week without VIP card) the rate of the increase is alarming!

This is common in Nogales but silver lining is some are hot and willing to do things they'd never consider when they were living in the states. Suddenly, a Mexicana who had her pick of guys in the States is offering up her ass for mil pesos.

A lot of deportees that speak perfect English were brought to the States so young that they do not have a record in Mexico. So after they are deported, they are unable to get Mexican paperwork required to hold a regular job. Some speak really shitty Spanish if any. And they are stuck in the Zona Norte working in the underground economy. There is an interesting youtube about their situation. They are really fucked.
On one hand, most claim to have been deported for stealing cars. On the other hand, stealing cars seems to be the default explanation most gave when asked the reason for deportation.

This was my first night as an official mongerer in Tijuana. I had done a recon mission during the day with an American girl a month or two before. The only thing I remember was having a shot of Tequila at Adelitas then walking off the two streets I described. It was not well lit. I cannot give you a location now but it was not far away. A Mexican man larger than me by several inches and many pounds choked be from behind trying to get me to pass out then rob me. They usually work in teams of two. After I pulled him down and faced him he looked very frightened before I hit him. I believe he was a desperate Heroin attic that desperately needed money for a fix. He got nothing but a right cross. I am probably the most peaceful person you can ever meet outside a ring. I am of Italian decent and can have a very bad temper when provoked. I do not recommend handling things the way I did. A Mexican girl approached and asked me if I was alright. I told her that I wanted to know where to find this guy so I could kill him. This was a very stupid thing to say. I then had a beer with her and she stole my phone. I then realized how stupid I was and stayed in my Hotel room for the rest of the weekend.
In Mexico shit happens. I can't believe the girl asked if you were ok. And then having a beer with her she stole your phone! OMG. Crazy shit just happens down there.
A don't clearly remember the specific details of another incident that someone told me a couple years back. It had something to do with a gringo tourist being to close to a drug dealer and the cops thinking the bystander was buying drugs. It could have been a setup I have no idea. But I just remember being shocked and it just makes me a bit paranoid when I am in Zona Norte. Especially on the streets.
I was down there in Zona Norte with a buddy a couple months ago and just to play it safe instead of walking around the block to get to Azuls from the front of HK we walked upstairs to Cascadas's up to the third floor and crossed the entire length of the hotel inside. And then walked down stairs into Azuls restaurant. It sounds over cautious but I just hear of to much weird shit that goes on down there. Course I take risks as well and have picked up several street girls in the Alley.

Haha this is classic zona norte right here. You tell a girl you want to kill a guy, and she's got the. Serve to steal your phone. As axle rose sings, "welcome to the jungle baby your gona dieeee". The street you were on is likely the same street they got me. In other words not the alley not HK front. But the street on the east side that goes uphill if you were walking to the arch and hotel nelson. The ones that got me were group 6 at least 2 woman. They were well dressed deportees going out to the bar because it was midnight on a Saturday. It would gotten over it by now but I have huge scar on my head from these people that may have cost me normal relationship opportunity since.
