Brothels in Amsterdam are not the place to go, for sure. I have been quite clear here that the small alleys part of the RLD is closed by now with the exception of "La vie en Rose" or just "Rose" nowadays. I actually came here to report about the decisions by our government yesterday. There won't be all that much change until November. Except for the 1. 5 meters rule. That will be abolished on September 25th. So, more people allowed in bars and restaurants but closing time will remain 00:00. Discos and night clubs are allowed to open their doors just as long as they close them before midnight. Our government seems to like a joke.

That's still an improvement.

Hers is the first window on the left in "Stoofsteeg" if you enter from the Canal.

You always enter the Stoofsteeg coming from a canal, because there is a canal at both ends of the street, haha.

Yesterday I had some time to kill. Nice weather, walking along the Amsterdam canals. Finished at the RLD and found it to be quite different from a few weeks ago. Now "Oude Kennissteeg" and "Stoofsteeg" held quite a few beautiful ladies during the daytime. Even my favorite had returned. Couldn't resist her. Hers is the first window on the left in "Stoofsteeg" if you enter from the Canal. But there were quite a few more beauties around. OK, only two streets but if you are in Amsterdam than you could just go there and try your luck. I know I will. And it seems to me that now with the closing time staying at 00:00, till November at least, most daytime ladies will continue during the evening, till 00:00.

I've never had any luck with the listing on brothel-in, it's either old places referenced or whatever tourist traps in the city.

Has anyone been back since the pandemic? Reading the local forums. It seems the Dutch authorities have closed or "sold" some windows in the North West area of De Wallen. May anyone care to comment? How many windows are even left now?

I have been in AMS serveral time in last few years, and one thing I have learned is. The RLD is not the right place if you take mongering seriously!

Absolutly, RLD is touristic, there are lots of brothels in AMS and around where you can relax and choose the girls, and give you a better service than the RLD.

And again, Amsterdam being touristic, there are lot of upselling happening as well.

I am just sharing a link, which list few of them, but do your own homework, you can call them up and ask the prices, and choose which one you want to go.

Some of them won't have a door charge, if you don't land in a taxi in front of the door! As they don't have to pay the taxi as cut!

Yes, hookers. NL and some other websites are gone. Reason given: privacy matters. Real reason: I don't know but a "certain tendency" is going on since several years in Netherlands. Within a few years all is legally left is your right hand.

Works for me, if you are using a VPN you need to switch it to a nearby location or NL even for that matter.

Sounds like things might pickup after September 20th. Question, is anyone else getting blocked by hookers, kinky and sexjobs that are trying to connect from outside Amsterdam? I am trying to get a feel for if things have recovered, yet.

Hookers is as good as down. Only info on their board is that they have to stop due to privacy reasons. No problems for reaching websites. Probably your own settings or internet provider.

Even the crowds are back. It was packed yesterday. Midnight deadline continues though.

That is the same what I saw, last week in the evening. Today I went there in the afternoon. It was dead on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Only some girls in Oudekennissteeg and some in Stoofsteeg. I saw only one girl on Oudezijds Achterburgwal. So, not too good news. My favorite has gone. Only good news was that "La vie en rose" or just "Rose" had some nice girls during the day. You can still get a decent looking girl during the day but there are less than 20 girls in total. During the night that was somewhere between 100 and 150. So, I wouldn't be surprised if the RLD at daytime is a thing of the past. Around 2008 there used to be at least 150 girls in total during the day.

About the midnight deadline. It is supposed to be lifted on September 20th but only if the number of infections is not too high by then. Same thing applies to the bars and restaurants.
