Some further lessons learned.

1. Obviously, going to a possible risk area like VM during the day is a good move if you are a first time visitor. You must see Mosaico during the day, see the ways in and out by foot, and by taxi.

2. There are girls 24/7/365. There are good ones, if your taste is towards wefuckblackgirls.com, as Vagabundo's is. (one of his men in the Swiss Naval Infantry gave him the callsign "MUDSHARK" haha).

3. If you get a number, expect it is a communal cell phone. This sucks, as if you try to message the specific girl you want, you more than likely will get a signals intel cell of working girls sitting around with their Tia and maybe a security guy thinking about how best to rob you of as much as possible.

As I write this, I am texting my VM girl from Wednesday to try to get her over here to barra for pernoite. I also have 2 other girls who come to barra on their own (a big selling point for this customer). I will probably break down and send and uber (I actually use indriver app). I may even go get her. Towards that point, the logistics of the bus are key, and can be seen on the association mediterraneo website.

I know its 90 days and you can ask for extension up to 180 days within a year but is the following scenario legal and accepted or ok to do?

Visit Brazil for 90 days. Leave Brazil for a month and return to Brazil for another 90 days. Total 180 days.

On Wednesday, Vagabundo got on the bus from Transamerica to Centro at 11 h20.

It was overcast, and there were some stand up paddle surfers at Fortress Copacabana.

Vagabundo was at the Cinelandia Starbucks by 12 h39, and right on time Dodochen linked up.

We headed to VM in a uber, targeting Mosaico. This turned out to be a good plan as it was early, some girls were out, and most were not. There was no safety issue. Some good girls were out, and Vagabundo as he normally does got numbers. We first went to hotel canario so we could see where to go with a girl. This is a good location. The casas tia's will try to stop this. They want their 10 or 15 reais for their room. You, as a client want to get the girl to a neutral hotel, or to your own apartment / hotel room.

You must learn portoguese. It's been said so many times, but it bears repeating. Vagabundo did some translating. He is not normally in the biz of doing this, but dodochen is a good dude, and it was fun.

We did the loop several times. We set casa 52 as a link up point. We ordered guarvitas, and they overcharged us (4 reais each, but so what, and dodochen was paying). Margins are margins.

Vagabundo found happiness in a 18 yo negra which was 90 r. BBFSCIP.

We ubered back to metro uruguiana. We had lunch at Cais do Oriente, a nice restaurant, 59 r for a prixe fixe lunch menu, which is a popular local spot. The place is nice with entrances on both sides of a whole city block, including out onto the harbor where there is the tribunal maritime, and the ferry to the other side of the pond (g bay).

We then went to one of the centro prives, and Dodochen picked a girl. She upsold him 50 BRL for anal, but this is to be expected.

Vagabundo went home on the 309 bus, having just missed the 17 h20 luxury tourist bus back to Transamerica. It was a good day.

I was yesterday in Casablanca. Many girls, like 25 Girls. Normaly go out with the girl is 150 BRL and the girl want 400-500 BRL of you for one hour. They have good stripteas shows and some real action in the club with the girls. The only thing which I don't like at places like this one. Everytime the older one girls will come to you to talk. Sadly my Rio Adventure has come to an end but here are my results:

Termas Visited:

Solarium. Visited Twice. Easily my favorite in terms of beautiful brancas. Sessioned both times with the same girl. Slightly pricier than the centro termas but worth it for the cool atmosphere and talent. Entry is 120, but they'll include one free beer if you pay it in cash in advance. If I remember correctly, it's 475 for a 40-min session. Only downside is that the location is a little out of the way but really it's not a long Uber ride from Copa.

4 x4 - Visited 5 Times. I had mixed results. Went home without sessioning twice (once was due to overdoing it with the alcohol which would've been a waste of an experience). Entry is 50 and I believe the basic room is 410 for an hour. All termas have great customer service but 4 x 4 should get honorable mention due to the English-speaking receptionist who is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. After only visiting a couple of times she remembered who I was and even gave me a free upgrade to a suite on one of my sessions. 4 x4 is legendary and for good reason. I personally only found the women there to be OK. There were a lot of them, but I would only find between 2 and 4 per night that suited my standards. It was always a great party though. I would really recommend going with some other mongers and getting the VIP table. I don't know how much it costs but it seemed like those guys were always having a better time than everyone else.

Whiskeria 65 - Visited 6 Times. This was my underrated gem. It doesn't seem to be that well-liked but it felt like a second-home to me. It's partly because of the 70 entry that was fully consumable. I could just go in, have 3 beers and enjoy the atmosphere and it felt like I hadn't paid a cover all at. I sessioned 3 times here. Twice I got lucky and discovered a blond branca with perfect proportions who gave a very persuasive performance. She was one of the highlights of my trip. If she hadn't been there, I might not have been so impressed with the talent. They can really be quiet on Mondays and Fridays, but I had one of my best sessions on my Monday there. The other session there was simply OK. The price was quite nice. I think it's 335 for a room for an hour, and they have the best rooms of the 3 termas I visited as they are newly renovated.

Prives:

Studio Zen (formerly Zen Therapy) - Located at RB185, it's extremely easy and convenient to get to and I felt it was amazing value. Only 100 for a 30-min session and the girls were OK in terms of looks but one of them gave me one of the best performances during my time in Rio.

Final thoughts:

It was my first time trying this hobby in Rio and my mind was blown. The girls give you an experience I haven't really seen anywhere else. They aren't always the best looking women in the world (too many have crazy amounts of work done and many are overweight) but there are some gems in there. I was originally thinking of going to Thailand this winter, but due to their unpredictable and ridiculous handling of the pandemic, and my amazing time in Rio, I've decided I'll be back for January. March and enjoy Carnival. It really is the most beautiful city in the world. My only regret is doing it solo. Next time I'll reach out and meet up with other mongers. It seems like that would be a lot of fun.

Anyway, I'm in Sao Paulo now, I've only got a week but will try to explore it some more and make some comparisons but I feel my bias might lean more towards Rio in the end. We'll see.

You have a valid point here. Apartment rentals offer certain real advantages over hotels. The trick is finding the right apartment in good condition with a reasonable landlord. I have stayed in a few condo rental apartments in Pattaya and it was great. But I am still feeling my way around RJ, so I don't think am ready yet to intelligently go for a rental.

So why are Rio Hotels so conservative?

Rio hotels have been this way for a long long time. They have their reasons like fights breaking out at 4 in the morning and these girls are loud and vicious, doesn't look good to the respectable guests, not a good look. Guys getting robbed and drugged again not a good look when the police show up. Not a good look when one of these favella rats shows up in the lobby. Some of the nicer hotels don't want to deal with this, it's not worth it to them. That's interesting, although I am not too surprised. One of the reasons I have never gone to Saigon were all the various hurdles and work arounds required to punt successfully there. It is too complicated for me. But I love Viet girls and met some great ones in Phnom Penh, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Macau.

Sadly Phnom Penh and Hong Kong no longer have Viets. They were the stars in several Wanchai bars I used to go to pre 2014. In Macau Saunas, however, Vietnamese girls are usually relegated to entry level positions like thigh massage (HJ's) and were always on the lowest rung in the showtime lineups while Chinese, Korean, and a few so called Japanese girls were considered the hottest girls and were the most expensive. The Fairmont is pretty good. Not a true Fairmont, however, since it was originally an Accor Hotel, but after Accor bought out Fairmont corporate re-christened the hotel a Fairmont. Not a big deal, but if you ever stayed at a real Fairmont you would quickly notice the difference. Anyway, it is pretty good and it was girl friendly when I stayed there in April. That's why I am going to stay there again in November.

It's funny it was originally an Accor hotel. This hotel was probably built about the late 70's. It was called the Rio Palace hotel and was a high end 5 star hotel, celebrities stayed there as well as the Copacabana palace hotel. I've stayed there several times in the 80's. Then I guess it went downhill like many Rio hotels did. It changed hands a few times, I don't remember all the names but it also was a Sofitel hotel not too long ago. The hotel basically has the same bones as it did in the 70's.

I don't know of any Marriott Hotel worldwide that is not girl friendly. I trade off and stay at 2 different Marriott Executive Apartment Hotels in BKK, the Park Exec Marriott on Soi 24 and the Thonglor Marriot Exec on Soi 57. I have brought back multiple girls many times, 3 girls was my max, a menage a quatro, and no one at the hotel batted an eye.
