I went to two drugstores in Sao Paulo (Drogasil and PagueMenos) to check about antigen tests in preparation for my return to the US. Both charge 99 real, takes 20 minutes, and you have the option of a nasal swab or oral swab. Will check some more drugstores but this may be standard in all of them. Guess I'll take the oral option, given what you say.

Oral swab may not be a bad idea. The Drogasil I got the test done said they have only nasal option. Also it is interesting to learn the price varies by location for the same chain.

Back in May, I got my test done at the hotel in Rio and was very surprised how aggressive they were with swabbing. So this time I told the person not to push the swab too far and be gentle but it didn't matter. I guess they mindlessly do what they do to everybody.

The self administered test is not a bad idea in Brazil because the folks who do the tests there seem to enjoy jamming the swab valiantly as far up you nose as possible. Their excuse, it may produce false positives if swab is not inserted until it hits the your brain. Snip.

Partly because fares are bit higher for Rio than SP from the where I live. I may book a open-jaw ticket between SP and Rio next year. I do like travelling in sleeper bus between Rio and SP as they are most comfortable rides. They are very good alternative to booking a last minute flight which can be very expensive.

I visited Rio very frequently in the 10 years up to when Help closed, and frequently I would stop 2-3 nights in Sao Paulo before heading to Rio for the bulk of my trip. IMO Sao Paulo always had higher quality (and quantity) of women than Rio. As great as Centaurus, Solarium, L'Uomo, etc were (and of course Help), the boates in Sao Paulo always had the best talent. Although going back, say, 15+ years, I think the best boate was probably Cafe Foto. For large numbers of really hot-looking women, IMO Sao Paulo was and still is the best place in the world.

This is great info. In the period leading up to the closure of Help I never visited SP only transited. I started going to SP after. I have never seen the quality of babes in SP clinicas that I used to see in Centaurus back then. I certainly must dig deep in my pockets and visit Scandallo when next I visit SP. There were no such restrictions in clubs during my recent 2 weeks trip early September.

I have heard about such restrictions being imposed for venues like zoos, museums, tourist hot spots like Chris the Redeemer etc. I have also head about movie theaters imposing such restriction but I wasn't asked for any such proof when I went to a movie.

I didn't see too many new hotties but at the peak there were 200+ girls. Main music program started after midnight and the club was packed with local men drinking and dancing.

I didn't see any noticeable higher number of new hotties in the club. I have seen a girl I saw in Bamboa back in May and few other new faces but most of he girls are same as my previous visit. These hefty entry fees are not justified unless you are interested in music event or you have confirmed intel about amazing lineup.

I was mostly disappointed with my visit because I didn't as many new hotties as I hoped for and the consumption turned out to be $300 not $800. I don't think I will be visiting Scandallo during event days. If I happen to go there and find out there is an event, I will turn back and go to some other place.

I visited this place the next day I visited Scandallo. I had a very good session with a 20 yo pretty branca. Paid R400. I see lot more natural looking girls with minimum makeup than at Scandallo and that is one reason I am starting to like it better more than Scandallo.

Not many girls speak English, so it is difficult to communication with them without Portuguese or Spanish. It is tiring to use translate app but girls are very patient and accommodative.

I got my COVID test (antigen) for return flight from Dragosil pharmacy for R120. I walked in hoping to get the test done but they made me take a appointment for later that day. The test took less than 30 minutes and got a paper copy of the result.

Overall I liked this trip better than my last. It is amazing how great Brazilian girls are in bed. Yes, there are bad apples here and there but most of the girls are honest and provide amazing service. Brazilian girls definitely provide much higher level of IOP (Illusion of passion.
