I've been considering hitting up Colombia (Bogota) for quite some time and noticed that the weather right now is rain / thunderstorms and will be throughout the month. Is it still a good trip to make in this inclement weather? How's the nightlife / bar scene during the rain? Are people used to it and go about their day the same or just stay in?

I am new to mongering and would like to thank everyone here on this forum for their tips and suggestions. I have been to New Delhi, Amsterdam and now came back from my recent trip in Bogota Colombia. Overall very nice experience and you get more bang for your buck in Colombia than other European destinations. The best advice is to go to Santa Fe in Bogota in the day to evening times, some amazing talent on the street for as low as 30-50 K columbian pesos. You just have to be extremely careful while going to Santa Fe, lot of shady people on the street and if you look like an American that you will stick out. Foreigners means they have more money and they are target for robbing.

On my day 1, I used mileroticas to have a lady come visit me in my hotel at Hotel IBIS. She was okay and I paid 150 K pesos. Ordered another one later that night. Second day I went to the mezzanine spa which everyone keeps talking about here in ISG forum. Had the sex with a beautiful young lady, almost felt in love with her.
