Alot of my observations have been mentioned many times on the site.

I'm randomly writing what's pops into my head while observations are fresh.

I will probably not return to Cartagena and would only recommend 5-7 days for first time travelers.

I hooked up with 3 nice girls with who I spent the entire 12 day vacation with- They were over 30 and had 3 kids each.

If your willing to commit to Colombia with multiple visits you could build yourself a nice book of contacts.

There are a lot of beautiful single women looking to meet gringos..

Nice report. It sums up same as I saw in my previous trips earlier this year. Getting ready to make another trip before the year ends jaja.

I'm a little confused when you mention "Afro Americans have arrived. " Can you elaborate on that? Is it the same as Venezuelans arriving in Colombia, DR and Trinidad so supply outweighs the demand for the mongering driving the prepago price down?

The early to bed early to rise is spot on, I keep mentioning girls don't get to to Centro until 10 pm so mongers should be sure to get there around 9:30 and leave by midnight but some have the mentality of "get there when its popping and leave at closing" not realizing, by the time they get there when its popping all the good chicas are already snatched up and sitting at the tables with mongers or they already went to a short stay hotel did their thing and back to get another monger.

Only issue I have ever had with a place from Juan was the building rules I didn't know about. One building only allowed 1 guest per person. I travel solo, but could only bring one girl up. That was a bummer! Some buildings you have to pay a small fee per girl. Like 10 $ usd it came to. I knew that ahead of time. My favorite building they check ids. Have a fun time sir. Easy!

I've always found them to be very clean.

Been watching some YouTube videos of morons throwing money around on the streets and clubs. Is this something kinda happening often? Or happened once and these guys are making the video a big deal for views.

Less than 2 weeks to fo. Already made contact with my go to girl to have all my supplies ready and be at the apartment as soon as I get there for some fun. After that the hunt is on. Have about 30#s on WhatsApp. Those will be for backup. If I'm at a restaurant having lunch and wana go have fun. Start hitting up WhatsApp!

I stayed in Marinero. Never tried to bring more than one girl upstairs but I don't think there would be a problem. Never was charged either.

Last time I talked to Juan was a few monhs ago and at that time some buildings were flexing their rules and only allowing you to have one visitor at a time due to Covid. I am not sure at this time if they have changed but ihe specificlly mentioned Marinare only allowing one visitor. I had never tried to bring up more than one visitor the times I stayed in Marinare. I have most often stayed in Playa Mar (at one point Playa Mar was only allowing vistitors who could produce a negative test) and in the past I have seen guys have like three chicas come up at a time. Especailly when there was a nest of prepagos living and working out of I am saying that even now the situation may be fluid and I would email Juan ahead of time to see what each building policy is. One thiong about dealing with Juan is that he is very aware of our intentions so it is easy to be straight with him about needing a chica friendly the building and inquiring about how chica friendly the building is.

Makle no mistake most people around Juan know what we are doing there. One time I showed up earlier in Cartagena that I had originally thought because I caught an earlier bus from Barranquilla, so I just sent Juan a message to see if by chance the apartment was ready. He said no but he would get his cleaning lady in there and get it ready soon. When I arrived he said it was not clean yet but I could go ahead and put my luggage in the apartment. I went up and I could see that the cleaning lady was a little stressed. I was pretty sure that my showing up early threw her schedule. So I felt like throwing her a little tip. And handed her 20 k COP. I do not speak great spanish (even worse then) and didn't say anything. But then she looked puzzled and asked me "Do you want me?" . She was probably in her 40's and looks to be in her 50's and very not in good shape. I then replied in my broken spanish "propina para muchas gracias para limpiar" and she figured it out. I guess they think we have a one track mind LOL.

I'm good on that. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong at all. The talent pool of pros here in Cartagena right now is very poor. Please prove to me otherwise. Mostly all I see are dirty looking tatted up 6's and 7's everywhere with fake ass implants and overall very trashy. So the very rare 8's and 9's want to charge a lot I have noticed and I can see why. The competition for them is not that high.

Well. I got one really hot one who likes me and will stay all night for $100 now no condom does everything I want. We basically just drink and get high all morning then bang like rabbits. Wake up and bang again. I even got her down to $80 for this as well.

The last $140 girl was terrible but looked smoking hot. Her service was terrible though. $140 was for all night. She said no condom for an extra 100 k pesos which isn't much however I declined because I couldn't get it up for her because I was taking lyrica pregabalin before I went out. Which is great but gives you ED.

But also. I think I couldn't get it up because there was no real connection there. Her attitude was just downright awful. Terrible terrible girl actually. Incredibly rude. Much more so than in other places I've noticed. The pros here just tend to be kind of miserable acting people in general though just based on my experience. Overall, you get the las Vegas pro attitude and service at a somewhat discounted price. Yawn. It is nothing to write home about that's for sure.

Then your telling others don't go to the strip clubs because they rip people off which is what is echoed on this forum, but then you say you are going to ISIS paying $160 for what you consider a 9 in your book so your still talking to them in dollars.

I'm not understanding why if you already had a few that you consider stunners, top level in your book, why don't you just get their numbers and keep seeing them? Have them take you to different places instead of the same puta scenes so you can make the best out of your trip rather than constantly complaining about the lack of talent? You're on week 3 or 4, what have you done besides constantly trying to find chicas.

Got to agree with highontravel in regard to fuglies here as I just arrived yesterday. Too tired to go out last night but the pics someone posted recently of those two chicas was pure skankville. I did NOT travel here all that way for that type of talent. I hope that it's better on ground tonight. If you are here now, then you know it's a holiday (Día de la Raza) and the streets were teeming with people last night. There was a long line for De la Mar and that was after the sunset. I did see a few lurking around the arches at Reloj early on in evening but decided to hold my cards for another night.

I suggest that you find another monger down there and ask them for suggestions for what you are looking for. Maybe someone you actually see face to face that is right there on the ground can size you up and tell you what you are doing wrong or maybe they will just tell you Colombia is not for you.

I have been renting from Juan about every two weeks for the last 4-5 months in Laquita the apartment I rent has always been on the 4th floor and yes I have seen very few small cockroaches 1 or 2 but nothing that would cause me to throw a fit, hell only seen 1 small roach while I was in the closet and one small roach in the kitchen late one night after turning on the light. On my recent visits with an apartment higher up I have seen none but on my last visit this month went back to my 4th floor apartment only because the elevator was being worked on and I'm no fan of stairs. I still seen only about 2 small baby looking roaches and killed them both end of issues and seen no more or was I just to busy fucking all the time. These 2 anyway.

How much did you pay for those two? I got an offer for 2 girls fir 1 hour for $200 usd at Isis the other night. I declined and took home a stunner for $160 all night. Probably too expensive and I might have overpaid but she was a legit 9. Hot asf no tattoos said she just cane in from Cali.

The girls in your pictures, no offense the typical trashy looking pros I see when I go out in centro at night. Just average looking skanks. Maybe I am too picky. But I don't feel like Columbian pros in Cartagena on average are that attractive at all. I also find their attitudes to be not so great.

The pro I had from isis was freaking gorgeous though. Best ass and curves I have ever seen on a girl in that area. Petite with perfect curves and very smooth nice skin perfect legs beautiful face. Said she just arrived here from Cali the other day. I would move to Cali if they had a beach there. Seems like a paradise for single men. But this girl was a unicorn for the centro area standards. Put the girls in your pics to shame. All the other girls there that night looked like your typical tatted up average looking used up garbage like the ones in your pic. No offense LOL. Everyone has their own preferences.

Normal non pro Columbian women can be very stunning though. I had a beautiful girl legit 8 last night who I have been chatting with for weeks on bumble come over to my place last night and drink with me on my balcony over the ocean. We started dancing and making out. She wanted me to use a condom. But I had a bad case of ED because I have been taking this medication called Lyrica lately. You cam get it over the counter here. It gives you a good high actually and is great for back pain. But it gas a nasty side effect of killing your libido. Really sucks because its fun to take haha.

But yeah I couldn't get it up and I guess it ruined the experience for her. She went to the bathroom and said she didn't feel good here and was sorry but had to leave. I said no problem I understand. I am wondering why you picked your hotel before you asked if it was chica-friendly. I assume you get some advantage with your credit card or you have some kind of rewards program that makes Marriot your choice. Either way to my knowledge it is not chica friendly but I am not positive so maybe another monger has actuall experience with Marriott.

I am posting to say that if your hotel is not chica friendly you should familiarize yourself with love motels / hotels which are places you can rent by the hour for a so so reasonable price. Colombia is a traditional family culture where adults often live with their parents until they are married so these love hotels are useful when you cannot take someone home, and of course many men keep a mistress on the side, it is part of the culture as in many places. So these are not just for prostitution. One of the ones most often mentioned here is Hotel El Viajero and Hotel El Viajero #2 whic just up the street from LDV and Space. You can study the Cartagena List where these are denoted under hotels and motels as being "short time" and you can look on the Cartagena Map and they are located by finding the heart symbol. Both of these can be found in post #508 in this thread.

Try OZ Hotel, good area clean girl friendly. Not bad for the price book on web can walk to beach lots of stores and restaurants. Hotel offers free breakfast and good room service.

Observations.

Many tourists now finding apartments thru ABNB.

Afro Americans have arrived.

Heavy Rains in Loquito and Bocagrande will prevent taxi access so get ready to walk in 4 inches of water after storms.

The beach and street action is terrible. The chica scene is confined to Centro, Clubs, Internet and Brothels.

The girls come out after 10 pm. If your a "early to bed early to rise" type of guy your not going to like Cartagena.

You have to use WhatsApp.

None of the girls spoke English. Had to use Google translate on cell phones.

To many drug dealers (cocaine).

Roaches were in 2 apartments I stayed in.

Extortion. Police fined me $65 for not wearing a mask while smoking a cigarette outside of the courtyard entrance.

Noticed transvestites hanging outside church courtyard.

Too many panhandlers and vendors.

Extremely hot and humid.

Dirty beaches.

Honestly. These amounts are pennies. But I get where yiu are coming from. Being viewed as a walking ATM machine is not good. This will be my first and last trip to Cartagena. I just feel like if I'm going to tolerate Columbians downright shitty subpar behavior I might as well do it in a 3rd tier city where its cheap and I hrt some gringo exotic factor. So far my impression of Columbian wo. En is not a good one though. They just all seem kind of cut try and to the point with everything. Its very surprising to me considering this is the salsa capital of the world. A lot of the girls just seem very robotic, selfish and boring individuals in general. The only really good Latinas I have met whether its here, in tge DR in Mexico or in Miami were Venezuelans.

I suggest that you find another monger down there and ask them for suggestions for what you are looking for. Maybe someone you actually see face to face that is right there on the ground can size you up and tell you what you are doing wrong or maybe they will just tell you Colombia is not for you.

Just for the record I have stayed at Juan's apartments at least nine times. Probably four different apartments (five counting the one in Mirador del Laguito but I am not sure he still has that one). I personaly only saw one cockroach one time. For the record it was the biggest fucking cockroach I have ever seen. That was a third floor unit. Mostly I try to get as high up as I can to increase the ocean view and ususally request the same apartment but sometimes it is not available. And have never seen any in the high floors. Maybe I have just been lucky. I'm certainly not doubting what anyone is saying, and know that they could not infest the higher floors but I never have seen any there, those buildings are old, and a littel run down and the humid environment in Cartagena is perfect for those giant cockroaches so I do not doubt what any other poster is saying, I am just saying that on my several stays there I have seen one once.

My first time in Cartagena (and only time staying overnight) I got a place from Juan. It was either Boca Grande or Laguito. I am not familiar with the names of the areas, but it was years ago when LDV was like in the middle of the road on that median and you had to walk up a few steps.

For anyone wondering where he is talking about , LDV was in Laguito in the little shopping center where the road splits around it (now called Pierino Gallo) there where you mention walking up the stairs, back during that time all of Juans apartments were walking distance. Laguito is so small it is small enough to be confused as being part of Bocagrande. It is really just two streets and a cluster of a few buildings on Playa Hollywood along along Carrera 1. The shopping center where LDV used to be used to and may still have a Casino in it also, the only other thing in that median area where the road is split is a small police substation then those two roads join at Calle 1b. there are a lot of highrise apartment buildings all along Calle 1b, one side faces the ocean - the other faces the lake, the only other main road that is in Laguito is Diagnal 1 and it runs along the with the lake on one side and the back of buildings that face Calle 1b but that is the street that you have to take to get out of Laguito because the streets are one way.

Another little peice of useless trivia is that back in that time era I remember there was a house near LDV that was owned by some Israelis and enough Isrealis visited Cartagena and stayed in Laguito back then (I think I heard it was mostly Israeli military) I noticed the internet cafe across from the previously mentioned police substation had keyboards set up in Hebrew. I met a couple of girls on the beach that stayed at that house. They were wearing arm bands that they said let them come and go there. They were visting from Bucaramanga to make a little money and I do not know what kind deal they had for staying in the house.
