There is a huge difference between preventing "infection" (as I explained in my previous post), which many vaccines don't do very well, and preventing "serious illness or death", which so far the vaccines Biden made easily available for free to every American continue to do very well over time:

It also does not "wipe out" all the virus particles circulating in the air and moving from person to person.

No, it works on the premise that the virus WILL someday enter your body via whatever orifice that particular virus prefers (at which point you WILL possibly test positive for it, btw) but that WHEN it does your body will have by then built up an effective immune response to it strong enough to prevent it from overwhelming your bodily functions, making you very, very sick, requiring hospitalization, taking up beds and staff attention that ordinary non virus-related injuries and sicknesses for which there are NO effective vaccines may require or dying from it.

Ya' see, that is why more positive COVID-19 test cases would naturally be expected in the population after more people are vaccinated and are no longer being as careful about wearing masks, social distancing and so on since, lo' and behold, their getting vaccinated has made it so their chances of getting very sick, requiring hospitalization and/or dying WHEN the virus enters their body is very small, even if they are in their 60's, 70's, 80's etc. Unless they have an immunity response weakening condition like Multiple Myeloma as Colin Powell had.

Hey, guess what, the measles virus, chicken pox virus and other viruses still exist! And we are all still exposed to them! Whoever told you they don't exist anymore because they were "wiped out" by vaccines is the one who sold you a bill of goods.
