I like many California people tried to present our ID to vote and we were told they were not checking IDs. I am sure the Liberal press will not publish this but as a California resident I have witnessed it and I did vote for Biden. Now you are calling democrats liars much the same as the socialists calling democrats liars in the House.

So what. Were you registered to vote? Do you remember what you signed? You probably don't, but I'll bet that you signed a form stating that it was illegal to vote (and against both state and federal law) if you weren't a citizen. What you fail to realize, primarily because you don't want to, is that somebody checked your signature against the signature in the poll book.

If I hire a team of 10 contractors to repair the damage done to my house with a 30 day deadline to get it done and on day one 5 of them announce they'll gladly accept the money but have no intention of doing any work for it, offer any ideas or contribute to the process at all, I'm going to blame those 5 deadbeats for whatever I DON'T get for my money at the end of those 30 days.

Yeah, if 1-2 of the 5 who DID contribute something to getting the job done turn out to be a drag on the process I'll blame them too.

Anyone even remotely suggesting I ought to react and respond that way would almost certainly be very much aligned with and in support of those 5 deadbeats and not the 5 workers.

I'm not talking about the one bill where the Dems included a sliver of projects Repub deadbeats were ok to approve because they always approve them when they are put on the table for a vote (deadbeat Repub Moscow Mitch never put them up for a vote when he was Senate majority leader under Trump, but worker Dem Schumer did under Biden). If they don't vote for those things when given the chance their constituents fire them from their cushy job so there is little praise to be handed out for that.

That's like praising the 5 deadbeat contractors in my analogy for using my toilet to take a shit while they're collecting pay for doing nothing rather than unloading in their own lunch bucket.

Yes, even at half the size of the original bill the Dems will pass legislation destined to be greater and more effective at improving the lives of all Americans than ever. But it will be missing some important provisions that would have made it even greater and more effective if just 2 of all 50 deadbeat Repubs in the Senate and a few deadbeat Repubs in the House had uncharacteristically worked for their tax-funded paycheck an hour or two.

I remember when Mainstream Media spent 8 years slamming Obama's successful negotiation of a historic Great Dem Recovery from the "Once in 100 Years!" collection of disasters he inherited from Bush2 for only asking for enough to get the job done tremendously fast and then settling for less but still enough to get the job done a bit slower. "He should ask for twice as much and negotiate down from there! Feckless loser!"

Now Mainsteam Media is slamming Biden for playing it exactly that way after inheriting another collection of "Once in 100 Years!" disasters from Trump. "He will only get HALF of the record amount he asked for and is settling for a lower record amount! Feckless loser!" Gotta' admire their consistency.

And it won't stop Repubs from claiming some responsibility for providing all the things their constituents back home will love about it, as they usually do after the Dems shoulder all the heavy lifting and assume all the political risk to get great things done for the country.
