You are absolutely right. Overpriced bars, overpriced girls, anything overpriced, will ultimately lose business and shutdown (maybe after short term gains, more due to ignorance and impatience of customers), unless they offer something substantial in quality, which others don't. I would fully agree with you if the only difference was price. But I don't believe a P4P experience between me and any 2 girls in the same bar is exactly the same except price, much less between me and girls in different venues and working in different P4P options.

My latte costs 105 Baht in Starbucks and 50 Baht in Amazon. Last time I looked Starbucks were hardly what you would call "done" and no its not just down to the quality of the coffee or the amenities. These are marginal, the simple reality is they charge what they do because they can.

You must be new to Thailand. Logic is absent from basically all small Thai businesses. TIT (this is Thailand).

You are dreaming if you think nana area bars will suddenly lower their prices because of fiwfans. By that logic they could also raise their prices to that of Thai brothels / soapies which charge 3500-15000 for a 90 min session. You're comparing apples to oranges. Yes both are fruit, but they are quite different. And asking girls to lower their prices by half after months of not working is never going to fly, prices will not change but you can run into trouble. Long time lurker in these forums, but after reading some well written reports from other new members, I figured I would also make some contributions. I have been in Bangkok for about a week now so I'd like to offer some "boots on the ground" reports from my first day back in the land of smiles.

Yes, online is a completely different experience from the bars. Honestly, I went off bar girls in 2007 when I discovered Tulip.
