I heard about guys that keep the PDF so they use the same test for multiple visits.
When I left Kenya on the plan the captain announce 40 min delay as some passengers PCR was delayed and they already checked inn. This is happen only in Kenya airways when entire plan waiting 40 min to late passengers.
And the searched for nylon bags in you stuff in the airport security hoping to find something and charge you with a big fine. I did my homework and totally eliminate all Nylons. Kenya airways sent me email about it before the flight so I was prepared.
I would say in and out was very fast and VOA was just 40 min or so. When filling the VOA you need to provide hotel reservation or just saying you stay with a friend and add his phone number. Since I payed everything went smooth they only want the money and approve my VOA in zero time.
Now should I go to Kenya again? Well what has changed?
1. No curfew.
2. no police try to arrest you for violation of COVID.
3. Clubs open.
4. dry season arrived.
What not change.
1. I have no idea how to find quite apartment in Mtwapa beside the Israelis apartment and even there loud music.
2. ATM Issues-better to bring cash USD / Euros.
Overall, Jan to March is fantastic time for Kenya. Blue sky, clear sea water and girls everywhere.

What's the problem with only Evisa?
I'm sure they did it because they want to eliminate corruption and cash disappearing at the immigration counters.

These are the OFFICIAL websites. Don't fall for all the countless Visa BS Sites which takes another 50$ or more. Happened to friends of mine. Have fun. Particularly the Ugandan one is a lot fun...

Posts: 982021 Dec. Stilll possible to get a Tourist Visa ON-ARRIVAL?
It's December 2021, tourist season is certainly in full swing -- anyone confirm that still possible to get visas in-person, ON ARRIVAL? (Yes, we already know they want people to do the form online.) Confirmation is you've traveled there in the past month.
And is it still 50 USD?

As one of the few open destinations. (and an easy-going one) how busy is Nairobi / Kenya now?
I suppose Covid's still having an effect, but are there a decent amount of foreigners? Maybe even as many as before the pandemic because Kenya's one of the easiest places to go to?
Would prefer it quiet when I arrive. Less competition!

Of course they will charge you the airticket at current rate. Nevertheless it doesn't bring many points to them. And in some cases they might fine their own check in agent.
This is why they are over careful about docs.

I read that someone who stays in Kenya simply goes to the nearest immigration office and pays an officer for a 3-month stamp.

Renewal.
Your stay period may be extended for a further 90 days through fns. Immigration. Go. Ke.
I have not gone through this procedure. When I noticed that I had only one month visa although I had been in Kenya three months, I decided to go to visit immigration. Lady there in reception area told me to pay six thousand shillings to arrange it without bureaucracy. I told three. We settled in four. So I gave her money, she disappeared somewhere and came back with three months extension in my visa. Lot of time saved, she told me that to make that renewal, I should have made lot of procedures in that webpage and then visit in immigration, I don't remember sure was there visit to immigration involved.
This airline checking. Around the world, it is more thorough and more difficult to pass than actual immigration. If you are not approved in immigration, you have to return, possibly airline have to pay this. So airline will check your application very carefully, visa, all covid stuff, etc. Often return flight is expected. I have been denied flight a few times during the years.

Last year I asked three months visa when arriving to immigration, when I went to ask extension, I noticed that they had written only one month. So I was two monts in Kenya with expired visa. Nodoby cared in immigration, I got my extension. I have forgot to check again what they wrote to my visa this time, I was asking in arrival in immigration many times three months, and then forgot to look what the guy actually wrote to my passport.

That is the mentioned place. The guy at the door says livemusic is from Thursday to Saturday starting at 5 pm.
Buffet at noon, fish 250, water 100,-
A bit smokey around the grilling station.
I preferred the pizza at Dominos opposite.

You just book your return flight and extend the visa after 3 months.
