Hey guys, I'm planning to be in Jaco next month, but will be at a hotel that doesn't allow unregistered guests. Are there any hourly rooms available for bringing chicas to, if I find any I like at Cocal, Orange bar, etc?

If there are no short term rooms, then it looks like my only incall options are the massage places or the G-Spot strip club, based on RTFF. Will post reports after I get there. Cheers.

True in Cocal they will start and sometimes stay close to $200.

However during day I have gotten girls around that area for under a $100 and the same girls in Cocal I have gotten outside in that area at night for way better than 2 bens. If you are fun ymmv.

Also, there is a lot of competition in the place. My long time tica novia had a sis that was super popular and the girls would be cool with her, but one of their other GF, s got a knife pulled on her by another girl. Also the Panamanian chicas seem to overcharge starting at at least $200 but the best bargains are Nicas who sometimes you can get for $50. I guess it all just depends.

Making my first trip to Jaco in mid Jan and was able to snag a room at Cocal (BTW. The website said they were fully booked but I emailed them and they had rooms available).

I've read the forum entries about the pool vibe and such at night and watched several YouTube vids but can't get a definitive and up to date read on the donations the ladies request and what that typically gets ya. We talking an hour of service like the massage parlors stateside? Or we talking a few hours? Or is everything per conversation and negotiation with the ladies?

Also, besides the pool any pro tips from Jaco vets would be appreciated.

Might stay an extra day in Jaco, but also trying to sort out the accomodations there. Cocal seems ideal, but pricey. What are some other GF options? Is Hotel Jaco guest friendly?

You guys will thank me for this trick, it will save you lots of $$ and hassle. Just G**gle search "bachelor pad jaco airbnb", this will bypass all the usual airbnb filters and get you the places you want.

My first trip to Jaco was a disaster, as I stayed in a gated community condo, like $175/ night, tipped a guard to get a girl in, then we got a complaint, felt really bad, etc. I ended up moving to the Cocal, which was loud with iffy wi fi, and even more expensive, for small room with no kitchen. (I work on my computer all day, like a kitchen to make breakfast / coffee etc).

But I loved the feel of Jaco, the one place on earth where guys can be guys, so went back. And so glad I did. I don't want you guys making the same trip-ruining mistake. A girl friendly airbnb is cheap and perfect for some pura vida.

I'll be in Jaco next week traveling solo. I'm staying at a hostel (private room) to meet folks to party with. If I strike out with the hostel girls I plan to head down to cocal. I don't want to bring a working girl back to the hostel and it may not be allowed anyways. Are there options near the cocal where I could rent a room strictly for that purpose? Hourly rooms preferred but I'll pay for the whole night if needed, hopefully under $100. Is this a thing near the cocal?

Yes, there are plenty of short term rooms right next to the Cocal, like next property over. Just ask the girls and they will show you. Cost is cheap for a short time room.

Yes, everyone, including those staying at the Hotel, mongers, gringos, LOL are required to show a QR Code which you obtain from the Ministry of Health online. You will do this before you leave your country. The Police went so far as to do quick spot checks one night on the girls in the bar to make sure they had their codes.

The amount of girls begins to steadily increase beginning Wednesday and then tapers off after Saturday night. Even in a time like this there are plenty of girls in town for us to keep happy.

Unfortunately, the government is now mandating that all persons entering the Hotel or hotel bars, which includes the Cocal, show an official QR code from the Costa Rican authorities. This QR Code requires proof of double vaccination for the girls and anyone wanting to stay and there are no exceptions. So, in short, this has affected the number of girls drastically from being able to come in. This past Saturday, where there would normally be 70-100 girls at any given time, there were maybe 30-40 gals max, and later on it dwindled down to maybe 20 girls. Sunday and Monday were absolutely abysmal and had maybe 10-15 girls at peak hour.

Many gals that are regulars here are a no show, and the girls are now forced to scramble to get their second shots or even first shot and the QR code which is a hassle for them apparently.

I would wait to come down at least for another month or 2 if possible. With that being said, there are always a few scragglers for those that really cannot change their plans but you have to work it and be a little more flexible.

The "QR Code Program" is voluntary, but allows establishments who use it, to increase capacity to 100%. It's smart to use, but I agree that the next month or so could be less than desirable for travel.
