The people in the Madagascar forum fall in three categories. Those who know and actually been there (multiple times and suffered travelling.). Those who RTFF and ask sensible questions. And those who have not been in Mada and theorizing how things work here. And these are theories or pipedreams. Nothing to do with nationality. English speakers think they can get away with zero french and just think it's like pussy take away in the US. Play a bit in social networks. We don't like these people here. First read the forum. Then learn basic french. Then travel to Madagascar and confront yourself with the reality on the ground. And no. I'm not talking about staying in Radisson and have some of the about 100 or less English speaking university graduates selling pussy on the internet. I'm talking about the REAL Madagascar which offers abundance. But only to those getting out of their comfort zone. Not taking an overpriced flight to Nosy Be and raving how everybody speaks English. No. I talk about Farafangana. If you're able to find that on the map. The island is 2000 km big. So do a lot of research and use Cotisse. Then some of the more experienced members here might even talk to you. Other than that. Stay in Asia.

Talking on the subject of English speaking. Anybody who knows Madagascar knows that nothing will change here. Most people speak basic french and the current malagasy dialect. English? Don't kid yourself. Unless you base yourself in the Radisson and visit the Irish Pub Tana. And Sharkys Bar in TAMATAVE.

Just tell us stories of your failures in Madagascar and we will enjoy the reading as entertainment. Or move on!

Posts: 540Yes It off topic but you will probably buy that condom and thank me later.
Hahahahaha! Umm, probably not. I'll be fucked if I will pay 5 bucks for a condom. You can get a short time in Mada for that. Why do you think Mada is as popular as it is for pussy? Because few girls even ask for one. If you want to wear a raincoat go ahead. I am happy to get wet!

I know you like mangily especially the massage girls walking around the beach. You also no stranger to Hotel Flamboyant in Tamatave. Does the same receptionist still there? He works there for decades.
I am planning for Feb, I left my girl there for two years now. I must go ASAP.

Mada airfares were never cheap. Turkish did drop it to 600 but others remained around 800. Important are local fares if you not want to spend days in a taxi brousse. Tsaradia now is about 200 EU one way to most of the connecting destinations if you not book well in advance. 2 years ago it was below 100. -EU. They only have 2 planes whereas one is working and are most of the flights fully booked or cancel a flight on their own fancy.
Feb. March is excellent to be in the highlands Tana (Mai till September it can be icy cold at night there) and great going to the west coast: Mahjunga, Morondava and even Tuelar in the south. There may be the occasional cyclone in Sambava at the east coast until April. But who of this mongers going there?
