Worth going at least once to see how bad it is!

Indeed it is and I remember going there on a suggestion of cab driver, seems like hang out joint of all cab drivers.

Worth a visit just to see such place exist.

A few highlights from my trip to Abu Dhabi:

I registered with the ICA and downloaded the Al Hosn app before I departed. I then took the mandatory Covid test in the airport on arrival after I cleared passport control. I was given my UID for the app by the dude checking my passport. Hold onto this, you will need this for the app once you get your results. I also found a Du mobile kiosk in the terminal and got myself a new local SIM card for my trip.

A couple of hours after leaving the airport, I got my negative PCR test results. This was very efficient. I then finished setting up my app and hey presto, my status was green and I was ready for action. The reason I mention this is because I had to show my app to get into the clubs, shopping mall and tourist attractions. I was surprised at the zero tolerance attitude and how strict they were. I arranged to meet a girl from Tinder one evening in the mall for some food but they would not let her in as her status was no longer green. !

I went to the Dana hotel twice and picked up a girl on both occasions. The club on the lower floor was dead with a couple of African girls. The club on the top floor (Khoroso) was much better after 11.30 pm. They had a good mix of girls. I picked up a good looking girl in her 30's from Azerbaijan who agreed to stay the night for only 500. She was new at this has was quite sweet. Picked a Philli from the pictures and she turned out to be on the big side and with braces. I convinced myself its only for the wax and went in. She had no experience whatsoever.

I got the same threat, and yes there were connected.

But again, it doesn't matter if you got bad rating because it is the nature of the business you can always negotiate and get best deals.

I'm beginning to wonder how well connected some of these spa girls may be. Just as we share info on this forum, I imagine they do the same elsewhere, perhaps on some WhatsApp group or something.

I mention this because I've had some peculiar red flags over the years here. 1. On two occasions, years apart, I've had girls comment that they thought they had seen pictures of me before. Now, I'm not on any social media sites, let alone dating apps, so I was confused by this. They were both from the same Asian country, and there aren't a lot of them there, so small community.

I've contacted them on the first day of quarantine. The good news is they tested negative. The irony is they asking me to cover the cost of test.

I think the worst had passed. I am feeling better now.

Why hesitant to tell contacts to test and ISO? Madness if you don't as this will spread very quickly as it has done elsewhere in the world. By know whoever you saw have maybe seen other guys who will spread this (assuming they get the virus and test positive) - is not a joke or something to ask on the board about, it is your responsibility IMHO.

Get a vax! And then a booster! Think of other more vulnerable people who really don't want a mild does of Covid as it could be fatal for them.

I'm guessing GabeHanMax is a tourist? (please correct me if I'm wrong). That is the issue with the UAE allowing everyone in with just Covid tests, you will have asymptomatic carriers, plus who knows where GabeHanMax caught the virus. It could've been in AUH for all we know. But yes, please get vaccinated ASAP. Your symtoms may be mild but it could be fatal for others, especially other unvaccinated folks you may have been in close contact with. And if I's Omicron as you said it is, we have all seen that it is spreading like wildfire literally. The numbers coming out of UAE are bogus, they need to keep their NYears and Expo crowd coming in.

Also agree that you should discreetly pass on to your contacts to get tested, it is the right and moral thing to do.
