Last year I was in Medellin at Orange suits in El Poblado I had to pay about $30-50 k if a girl was staying with me. Now I'm staying in Laureles (or any good location). Is there any good hotel girl friendly, or hotel without lobby (camera) thanks in advance.

Don't let the, quote you anything. You offer them 150-200 mil, and most of them will go for it or ask for a little more or taxi additional etc. Not sure why people feel they have to let the girl make the first move. Colombian culture is e guy makes the offer. If you let them they will throw so, e ridiculous rate, and some fools will pay it.

I called Minsalud and they are not really aware that a PCR test can stay positive for months; but they agree that a negative antigene test, a medical clearance, and 14 days after the beginning of symptoms will will be enough to get entry as long as I don't have symptoms. They just follow the WHO recommendations I think. I took the name of the lady who talked to me.

A few days ago, Minisalud came out with some new guidelines relative to testing. They basically said that if it walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck, it's a duck.

In essence what they said was that there was no need to do testing of younger healthy people who had the symptoms of the Omicron variant. In other words, if it is obviously Omicron based on the symptoms, why bother testing. I think Colombia looked at the "gaggle" with testing in the USA, and figured it was a total waste for younger healthy people who basically would have to wallow thru something similar to a cold.

Also, I noticed something today which I found alarming at the Pobaldo Metro Station, they have an electronic billboard stating that if you ride the Metro, you have a much higher risk of becoming infected.

I am on the Metro a lot, and have witnessed people with coughs, and on a few occasions people sweating.

I have curtailed riding the Metro, and always wear a KN95 or N95 mask.

Also, given that very few people are getting tested, I believe the daily COVID infection numbers being reported are way off.

I think on Thursday it was something around 5,000 for Antiquoa, but that number could easily be 3 or more times higher.

If you test positive for antigen test in Colombia, What I hear is that the person has to quarantine for 10 days before he can travel to USA. If you staying at a hotel, do you have to notify the hotel that you are positive and do hotel kick you out or charge you more? Is it way to get another hotel, and since you have to inform it too that you are covid positive, do they refuse or charge more?

BTW I am not covid positive but I am planning to visit Medellin soon and may have to deal with a scenario if I catch the virus.

Courtesy says you inform the hotel. Otherwise they won't know to take extra precautions.

Since this happened to me, I will repeat my experience. After getting the positive test I called the front desk to inform them. It was a Courtyard by Marriott (near Bogota airport) and pretty expensive, about $71 per night. My original plan was a 2 night stay and it was convenient for me.

The hotel manager told me he would inform the staff, and without me mentioning anything about the cost, lowered the price to $59 per night, which saved me a little.

I ordered all my meals from room service. Whenever a meal was delivered they would park a cart in front of my door with the food bagged up on top. After knocking on the door, room service would stand on the other side of the hall while I retrieved the food. Every day the manager would call and ask how I was doing, and whenever I called the restaurant they would also ask about my health. With one meal they even handmade a little get well card for me.

Probably the biggest change was no housekeeping. Instead, after a few days, they brought a tote full of sheets, towels, cleaning supplies, masks, hand sanitizer, and all the soap, shampoo, etc.

If you're planning ahead for this, which is a good idea, I would decide before the trip where to quarantine. If the cost is an issue, choose a more economical hotel. If money isn't a concern, find a place more comfortable. A good in-house restaurant is nice, although expensive, or there's always Rappi. The day before your test, switch hotels, for your last 2 nights. Then, if you test positive, all you need to do is inform the hotel and wait it out.

I doubt if any hotel would kick you out, or raise your rates.

I wouldn't waste 10 seconds worrying over why some puta declined the offer. There are too many out there to obsess over 1 or 2. I used to do that in my newbie days. I'd get all excited over 1 and when it didn't happen, I'd get all bummed out. No more. Next!

Maria has been my FB friend since December and she even shared me her whatsapp number in December. Since I am visiting medellin on Jan. 16, I tried to contact her via fb messenger but got no response till date. She is probably swamped by FB messages. So I sent her Whatsapp message today and got immediate but curt response saying that she no longer does 200 k appointments. Good for her. But this is what happens when exposure turn them into diva, and soon normal rate of 150 k-200 k becomes history.

Kate, another FB girl that got exposure here quoted me 250k + taxi, when I merely announced my travel plans to visit Medellin. I sent same travel announcement message to my other FB friends and over 30 of them responded positively without quoting prices. So Kate and Maria stood out in their response.

ran upstairs and grabbed my Blue Tooth speaker and some pink shit we ran over to The Deseo Hotel behind The Nutti that I have listed here before as a place that does not check cedulas (ID). Tonight they did ask for ID but that doesn't necessarily mean I would have been cock-blocked if they weren't able to show their ID's. The one chica only had a foto ID on her phone and that usually works but some places will insist on seeing the actual ID. Note, the cost of this hotel room was less than the dally guest fee at The Nutti. Your call.

Just some information about Hotel Deseo's for others to know. It costs' 18,000 COP for three hours, and the majority of the rooms have mirrors on the ceiling. I was there today with one of my little spinners, and this is the second time we have been there. She is very young looking, but actually 23, and the first time I took her there, they asked to see her Cedula, yet today upon entering I told her to get her Cedula out, but they didn't even bother to look at it.

More and more short time Hotels in Centro are asking for Cedulas it seems like. I was at the Zona Rosa Hotel yesterday, and they had posted a sign that you needed to show a Cedula, yet they never asked for them.

Lots of times it's totally hit and miss, and on some occasions, at the Premium Plaza they've played hardball requiring ID's, and other times not at all.

All depends on whose is at the front desk, and how young looking the girls are that you bring in.

My comparison is probably not an apples to apples comparison as I've met several normal girls while working in the countryside in Northern Central America. I know Northern Central America well though and it's definitely more conservative in both cities and countryside. You won't find many single girls out at clubs or bars and women drinking is taboo.
