The people in Cartagena were stupid and did not know what they were doing. Same as the lady that had a vaccine card with Maderna written on it. I know these are famous last words, but If you do not know what you are doing then don't do it.

So now that Colombia requires foreigners to be fully vaccinated, and there are members on this board refuse vaccines before. Now, how many of you are giving up pussies to stand your ground? How many of you will try fake vaccine card and risk Colombian jail to stand your ground?

I can only speak from a USA point of view. How do you tell a "fake" card from a real card? The answer is that you can't. It is a mere index card with your handwritten name and birthday. There is a handwritten vaccine lot and date and the handwritten initials or name of the place where you got it from. It means nothing to someone in the USA and will definitely mean nothing to a person in Colombia looking at one. All they are interested in is your name on the card and that a vaccine is marked in the space.

I once went to a club in Las Vegas and handed the guy my Thai driver's license to go in. He had this book with driver's licenses around the world and he looked it up. My 2-year license has a blue stripe at the top because I do not have a visa to get the five year one which has a purple stripe at the top. In the book it only had a picture of the one with the purple. He did not let me in because according to him my 100% real license is fake.

So what is to stop anyone in Colombia from claiming your real foreign vaccine card is fake (and according to you, throwing you in a Colombian jail) or believing your fake foreign vaccine card is real?

Haven't used Western Union (WU) in a long time because my Chucky Schwab card does the job. Logged on the other day and there were four attempts to transfer money in the amounts of (USD) $1000, $1000, $20, then $1500, all on the same day. All transactions were "canceled". The name used was a girl I have been sexing recently and have known for a couple of years but she never even got close to being on my ranked line-up, mainly because as I have referred to her here before, she is the craziest girl I know in Colombia. My take on it is that the chicas here are not all binary as in, yes I am a sex worker, no I am not a sex worker. Taking money for sex is on a cultural and psychological continuum. Catholics can and do go to Confession where they ask for forgiveness but don't have to spell out what they have done. The priest then tells them that they have been forgiven and their conscience is cleared of any guilt they may have had. Guilt is gone and now on to the next sin. But take advantage of it and you are whether or not it was realized. They couldn't do what they do if they had a guilty conscience. Enjoy, you have been forgiven. Too. Don't let the, quote you anything. You offer them 150-200 mil, and most of them will go for it or ask for a little more or taxi additional etc. Not sure why people feel they have to let the girl make the first move. Colombian culture is e guy makes the offer. If you let them they will throw so, e ridiculous rate, and some fools will pay it.

I called Minsalud and they are not really aware that a PCR test can stay positive for months; but they agree that a negative antigene test, a medical clearance, and 14 days after the beginning of symptoms will will be enough to get entry as long as I don't have symptoms. They just follow the WHO recommendations I think. I took the name of the lady who talked to me.

A few days ago, Minisalud came out with some new guidelines relative to testing. They basically said that if it walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck, it's a duck.

In essence what they said was that there was no need to do testing of younger healthy people who had the symptoms of the Omicron variant. In other words, if it is obviously Omicron based on the symptoms, why bother testing. I think Colombia looked at the "gaggle" with testing in the USA, and figured it was a total waste for younger healthy people who basically would have to wallow thru something similar to a cold.

Also, I noticed something today which I found alarming at the Pobaldo Metro Station, they have an electronic billboard stating that if you ride the Metro, you have a much higher risk of becoming infected.

I am on the Metro a lot, and have witnessed people with coughs, and on a few occasions people sweating.

I have curtailed riding the Metro, and always wear a KN95 or N95 mask.

Also, given that very few people are getting tested, I believe the daily COVID infection numbers being reported are way off.

I think on Thursday it was something around 5,000 for Antiquoa, but that number could easily be 3 or more times higher.
